Atlas Growth Systems is a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) agency serving local and regional businesses from Cincinnati, Ohio. The way people find businesses is splitting in two. Some still search and scroll. A growing share ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude a question in plain language and act on the single answer they get back. Traditional SEO was built for the first behavior. It does not reliably win the second. We work on what actually determines whether an AI assistant names a business: whether the business exists as a clean, unambiguous entity across the web; whether its own pages are structured so a model can parse and quote them; and whether third parties describe it consistently. In practice that means schema and structured data, entity and citation consistency, content written to be extracted rather than skimmed, and the technical foundations - crawlability, indexing, site speed - that everything else sits on. We also do the conventional work when it is the bottleneck: local search and Google Business Profile, site builds, analytics and conversion instrumentation. AI visibility does not help a business whose website cannot convert the visit.
