Our Story

Ascendant Content is an Website Design & Digital Marketing Agency based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Formed in 2021 we are comprised of a small number of individual specialists led by Pete. We are a proud member of regional bodies, and have been nominated for awards. Our most notable is being shortlisted for the Start Up Finalist Awards and finishing in the top 6 of Digital Marketing Agencies in the North East. We serve clients internationally, as well as fellow businesses in Yorkshire.

For Website Design: We begin with a consultation exploring exactly what you want to see in and to get out of your website, before asking you to take the time to fill out a questionnaire at your leisure to ensure nothing has been forgotten at the meeting. From there we will offer a proposal based on your requirements. When approved, we implement your design before submitting a first draft for your approval. If you’re happy, we can sign off and hand you control of your new Content Management System (CMS) which is accompanied with a complimentary welcome pack on how to make the most out of your new website. For Digital Marketing: We begin with a consultation based on your business's needs and evaluate what is working well or not, We don't shoot down the efforts of previous agencies unless we can see that it is warranted. From there we devise a strategy, looking at timescales, costs involved, further types of marketing that may be beneficial and present this to you. If you are happy to proceed, we send out a contract, information pack and invoice details.

Typically we would provide a report every month and a meeting via Google Meets or whichever web conferencing software your team uses. More or less frequent reporting if everything is proceeding well is available upon request. We also strive to notify clients both of issues and opportunities to exploit if this is outside the scope of the work agreed.

This will typically depend on your business, industry and available investment. We are proud to report over a 3000% ROI on a social media campaign for father's day for one client, utilising a blog and Meta Ads.

When we exceed the client's aims and objectives both in terms of monetary value and recognition for their business.

This fluctuates so it is hard to give an answer for any one period of time, but we are at our busiest in the last fiscal quarter.
