We've worked on over 500 campaigns with Ascend Agency for different customers, and the team has never disappointed us. Ascend Agency is efficient and always delivers on their promises. If something doesn't work out as planned, the team always has a solution, which can be a placement or a good gesture for our end clients. Ascend Agency has been a good partner.

Ascend Agency is very responsive and communicates well via email. We handle various projects simultaneously, and the team is always on top of them.

Ascend Agency treats partners exclusively. I've had a thoroughly positive experience.

I can't say anything negative about them.

I suggest asking Ascend Agency for a strategy pre-consultation to get the best advice and a tailored campaign. The team sends exact sample articles of what the client will get, so there are no misaligned expectations. I've leveraged that a lot and recommend doing the same.

We usually do large projects worth $100,000–$200,000, and we have different types of PR projects for various industries. We usually do 10–20 placements in the media at one time.

Ascend Agency helps us with everything related to writing, editing, and publishing articles in the media on our behalf. The team also helps us with some of the creative assets, depending on what we do. Basically, Ascend Agency is our go-to PR provider for everything we do. They help us with press releases, podcast placements, TV media opportunities, and digital articles in places like Forbes and Inc. Magazine.

We primarily work with Evan (Chief Digital Officer), although I know that there are more people on their team.

Ascend Agency has always delivered on their promises. If something has happened that's out of their control, they've always fixed it — their follow-through and deliverability are really strong. Moreover, they've been very accountable, so we can always count on them.

Ascend Agency has helped us with a lot of our clients; without Ascend Agency's support, we wouldn't be able to fulfill a lot of our services. Their team has helped us deliver results for our clients, so without them, our business wouldn't work as well. Overall, they've absolutely met our expectations.

How did Ascend Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

Ascend Agency is on time with everything around 85% of the time. Occasionally, there are slowdowns that are out of their control. Still, most of the time, the team is always timely and usually gets things done even before the deadlines. We use Slack and HubSpot for communication and project management. Sometimes, we text if it’s easier.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ascend Agency is always building new relationships in the media, so they always have new opportunities for us, which is exciting. They're constantly updating and making their product better. In this industry, not many people actually follow through on their promises and deliver what they promise. However, Ascend Agency does follow through and delivers, so we can always count on them. This gives me confidence when I’m trying to deliver something to a client.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could speed up their communication. Sometimes, it can be a little slow. Other than that, everything they do is very good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you're looking for a PR provider, they're a trusted source. It'll probably save you time to simply work with them instead of trying to find somebody else. We've worked with a dozen different PR providers, and Ascend Agency is the only one that has actually worked. This is why we've stuck with them for over two years.

If you want PR services, Ascend Agency is a one-stop shop for all of that. PR is their specially, so if you have a story that you need to tell, or if you have a client story that needs to be told, they’re going to be able to help place that story where it needs to be placed.

If I had to suggest something, it might be to offer more proactive updates throughout the project. While communication was great, receiving more frequent insights or suggestions along the way could have enhanced the overall experience. However, this is a minor point, as they were very responsive whenever needed and met all expectations.
