Well established in the steel industry. For over 30 years, ASA has converted raw scrap metal into MBQ finished steel billets. Scrap steel is converted into molten iron using our EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) before being shaped, cooled, and cut while it passes through our continuous casting tower. Our skilled casting team is able to produce either a square or rectangular billet that can be made to a variety of sizes. Our standard chemistry range is from a 1008 to a 1095, with a primary application for: structural, wire/rod, and rebar.
