Arizona Custom Iron and Fabrication

Mark Taylor is a licensed, certified and bonded welder who was raised in the San Joaquin Valley of California who grew up driving corn trucks, corn choppers and tractors, building cattle barns and corrals and has been in construction all of his life.   Previously worked as a superintendent for construction companies and moved to Sedona in 1998. After working for a general contractor, he realized his welding skills and started a motorcycle shop. After building amazing and custom bikes, winning competitions and with writeups in Hotbike magazine and American Iron, he started a construction fabrication shop and has the distinction of:

• Building the Sedona High School solar fields which were the largest in the state at the time and were completed 3 weeks earlier than scheduled.
• Designing and constructing the “Gateway to the Verde River” sign for the City of Cottonwood which is a 36’ sign which is hung 20’ at its lowest point in Old Town Cottonwood.

Arizona Custom Iron is a contractor-based company but isn’t too big to take care of the home owners!

The shop located at 2611 South Union Street in Cottonwood is a fully functioning shop with a mill and a lathe, a Heli arc / tig welder for aluminum and stainless steel, a mig welder, plasma cutters, metal brakes and shears, corner notchers, mag drills, English wheels and bead rollers.

The shop is also a mobile welding shop and available for steel sales and small walk-in jobs. Our motto is “Let’s build it right the first time!”
