I’m the sales and marketing director at Fenetres Magistral. We are a manufacturer of doors and windows.

What challenge were you trying to address with Archipel?

We hired them to make our marketing plan.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Archipel does our global marketing strategy, as well as the arrangements to deploy the strategy for the year. They’re doing SEO, as well as social media marketing on Facebook. They also do radio, newspaper, and TV advertising. We’ve done two full campaigns with them, and we’re working on our third.

What is the team composition?

We work with a team of about five teammates, but we frequently interact with three of them, including the owner.

How did you come to work with Archipel?

We met a few times with them and felt we had a good connection. They have a great team and the strategy they offered us was what we needed. 

How much have you invested with them?

Their fee is $60,000 CAD (approximately $46,600 USD), and our ad spend about is $400,000 (approximately $311,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in November 2017, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our sales have been going well since we started working with them. They’ve been going up by 5%–10% every year, so we’re pleased with Archipel’s work.

How did Archipel perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate mostly via email and phone. We have a few meetings with them in person 2–3 times a year.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a great fit for us. I’ve been working with companies like this for 20 years, and sometimes they aren’t a good fit. Everyone on Archipel’s team fits well with us, and we have fun working together. They give us what we need for the marketing plan.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve digitally, but I know they’ve been working on that. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Archipel is a small team, but they do great work. They have the advantage of a small company with the features of a big firm.
