I'm the CEO and founder of Puzzle Recruitment, an Atlanta-based recruitment and staffing startup

What challenge were you trying to address with ArboHQ?

As a startup founder, it was challenging to understand our business’s financials. I needed help in bookkeeping, financial planning, and other accounting tasks.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Arbo is helping us with everything related to our finances. They detail our expenses, manage our payroll, and send our invoices to my clients. They also help me understand our cash flow and monthly financial reports.  

What is the team composition?

I'm constantly communicating with Riya (COO & Co-Founder) and Saurav (CEO & Co-FOunder).

How did you come to work with ArboHQ?

Our offices were located in the same building, and I heard good things about them from other entrepreneurs in our community. I was told that they were helpful and supportive, especially with startup founders.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them $199 monthly. 

What is the status of the engagement?

We’ve started working together in June 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

ArboHQ is fast in processing my requests, which is important for me. Their work is also accurate and detail-oriented. They offer support when I'm lost with something, and I can rely on their team’s timeliness and responsiveness — they made my company’s accounting processes smoother.

How did ArboHQ perform from a project management standpoint?

ArboHQ has performed very well in project management — they have a high level of customer service. They keep me informed and in the loop each step of the way without asking for it. Their work is very organized, straightforward, and cost-effective. 

Additionally, ArboHQ is patient whenever I don’t understand something technical, and their team is knowledgeable in explaining financial concepts to me. They’ve provided an online chatbox solution that connects me directly with their team. We communicate through Slack and in-person meetings. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

ArboHQ is good at what they do — their work stands out from similar vendors that I’ve tried. They know what they’re doing, and accounting is their expertise, so working with them feels seamless.

Before engaging with ArboHQ, I’ve tried setting up my financials independently through an accounting software. However, it has been too complicated and confusing, and the software provider lacks reliable customer support. I’ve also engaged with a CPA, but their work hasn’t satisfied me. Meanwhile, ArboHQ’s services are tailored for my needs.  

Are there any areas that they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

ArboHQ’s service is a smart investment since it will provide you with accurate financial visibility.

I met them in person, our personalities clicked and haven't turned back

Every step of the way was customized to what is best for MY business. They did not try to form fit me into a standard package that they use for all clients which I really appreciated

I mainly work with the leaders of Arbo!

I achieved my goal and no longer need to do any accounting for the business, they take care of everything
