    Once the agreement/insertion order is signed, we start with a 60 minutes long kickoff meeting where core team members on both sides join. The agenda (shared in advance) covers recap of the situation, goals, and critical information. We then deep dive into areas relevant to the cooperation such as product roadmap, data, team, available resources,... We also align on meeting cadence, comm channels, file repositories, etc. After the meeting, we are set to get started.

    MEETINGS We keep meetings to a minimum. However, from time to time we have a bigger topic to discuss (data, product changes, new creative strategy) for which we need space, but never over 90 minutes. We expect both parties to come prepared and ideally with a clear agenda shared by the owner / organiser of the meeting. Starting sharp shows respect to the time of everyone involved as well as not cancelling the meeting just a few minutes before the start (1 day in advance is fine). CLIENT UPDATES Most of our clients prefer weekly meetings with recap and next week deliverables. Call takes 30-45 minutes and is followed by a written progress update. Each point that requires a confirmation is shared ad hoc. Quarterly strategy review helps us to see through the bigger picture and update the long-term roadmap. User acquisition reporting is online and customizable for you, your team and even investors. HOURS Standard working hours are 9:30 am - 5:30 pm CET but teams supporting clients in different timezones such as US West Coast adjust their schedule to have at least 2 hours overlap. In case of emergency, each person in the shared Slack channel has their mobile phone listed. By emergency we mean a situation where big damage (financial, reputation) might happen. ACCESS WE NEED Before we start our collaboration - you will receive an “Access & Logins” document that will list all the necessary prerequisites for us to start working and the instructions on how to share all of them. Typically, we ask our clients to share access to the backlog of past tests & ads, ad networks, MMP, store consoles, and analytics tools. USE OF AI By default we leverage new technology wherever it makes sense (no one is retouching photos manually, everyone goes into Photoshop and AI is just another tool to increase efficiency). When it comes to data analysis, we never upload confidential client docs or proprietary data. The same goes for IP, which we always keep away from AI algorithms.

    WHAT TYPE OF PROJECTS WE ARE INTERESTED IN The reason why we have a conversation with you on the first call is to understand if we are a good match and if we can truly help you. We partner with clients who seek brains, not just hands. You must be open to being challenged, open your cards, and establish collaborations. You ideally have an urgent, big enough problem to solve for a product with an existing market fit. Solving the problem will generate you money so you don’t hesitate to invest at least $15K monthly into breaking the glass ceiling you face for at least 6 months. IDEAL PARTNERSHIP While we are specialists in mobile growth and creative communication and therefore exceptionally qualified to bridge your game with a marketplace, we don’t have all your institutional knowledge. We will be grateful for a cooperative exchange that brings both worlds together. Both AppAgent and you need to bring something to the table to have a healthy relationship. DATA NEEDED To be able to run a proper diagnostic and improve over time, we need access to the data. It’s unrealistic to expect an agency to outperform internal teams if one party has less information. This goes for access to MMPs, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and ideally also your current campaigns to check the setup as well as product data to really see the full picture. ZERO-BASED WORK To move the needle, we look at your business from scratch and even might ignore your self-diagnosis or how things have been done so far. Our role is to think in fresh ways on the client’s behalf and we like challenging the status quo. It doesn’t mean we won’t praise you for things you do great but we will often bring our point of view to have a vibrant discussion.

    STAFF You’ll have a single point of contact. The manager has responsibility for results and your satisfaction. He/she typically assembles a core team that fits your goals and needs. The manager then occasionally invites other experts for meetings to streamline communication on specific topics. Everyone involved in the project is in the shared Slack channel for transparency and easy comms. COMMS We set-up Slack channel with most of our clients and typically respond within hours. Meetings are happening once or twice a week within your working hours. If you’re based on the US West Coast, we kindly ask to schedule those in your morning. Any major budget change goes first through your approval and every decision is documented for future reference. CHANGE ORDER Any major changes in the scope should come in written form, typically over Slack. If the scope of work should increase or reduce, please inform us well in advance - usually 1 month - to adjust capacities for you. APPROVAL POLICY We attempt to get a written approval for key outputs from our clients, but are fine with a verbal one under time constraints which is then followed by documentation in the weekly report or other form. To stick to deadlines, we expect you to react promptly, no longer than 48 hours in most of the cases. If the IP holder is involved, we need to set a realistic timeline or adjust the schedule so AppAgent’s team isn’t under unhealthy pressure. PERIODIC QUALITY CHECKS We want to regularly hear from you if we’re meeting your expectations. Satisfaction reviews happen with the Business Development Manager or directly with the CEO (for the biggest accounts) every 3 to 6 months and take about 20 minutes. We ask about the quality, communication, value for money and give you space to address anything that will improve our collaboration.

    Primarily we focus on measurable business metrics such as ROI, margin and revenue growth. We prefer partners who are open sharing these KPIs because ultimately our vision is to be the definitive partner for game growth. More creatively focused projects have win rate, spend per creative or IPM as the most common metrics of success.
