What challenge were you trying to address with Annaco Studio?

We needed a company that could help us rebuild our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Annaco Studio helped us rebuild our entire website. Ahead of hiring Annaco Studio, we had just built a landing page that provided basic information.  The team helped us, based on our direction, design and develop a Squarespace website that provides a robust overview of our business for all of our customers. Annaco Studio was able to deliver and launch the new site within a month’s time.

How did you come to work with Annaco Studio?

I found Annaco Studio through online research, and they’re local to us. We reached out to them, and we had an initial introductory phone call. They put together a proposal for us. It felt like they really understood our business and what we were looking to achieve. From there, we contracted them to do the work. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our team is happy with the new site, which easily allows us to provide potential customers and clients.

How did Annaco Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Annaco Studio has performed well in terms of project management. They stayed on budget and delivered faster than expected. We have had a few updates and edits made, and those have been done extremely quickly and in a very detail-oriented manner. They have also been transparent and open. We’ve been able to walk through and provide candid feedback, and we appreciate how they really listen to us. Overall, I’d consider this project to be a success.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Annaco Studio’s responsiveness and strong understanding of what we were looking for. They very much understood our goals, timeline, and the importance of what we were trying to accomplish. Anna, in particular, has also been an absolute pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend her.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, everything has gone well. I don't have one thing I would change in the entire partnership.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Being honest and upfront and letting Annaco Studio know exactly what you're looking for, your goals, and your esthetics is key to a successful partnership.

I am the technical co-founder and COO of a robotics company that serves the energy industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Anna&Co. Web Studio, and what were your goals?

As a fresh startup, we needed help building our brand identity and establishing a professional online presence. We were looking for a logo design, a website, and a pitch deck.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We originally reviewed dozens of options on Fiverr etc, and we even spoke with other companies in this space. Ultimately, we felt that Anna's modern, clean design was the best fit for us. She also worked in the software we wanted, had experience with each type of deliverable, and could finish within the timeline we needed.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Anna scheduled an exploratory meeting where we discussed our business goals, our vision for the company, and our deadlines. Anna was a consummate professional who was not only able to incorporate our ideas and desires, but also asked probing questions to round out our brand and provided a more customized, personal solution. Key deliverables were a logo, website, and pitch deck with a tight turnaround of just one week while remaining within our startup budget. Anna developed our website to be hosted with Webflow since we wanted more control and flexibility in the future compared to something like Wix.

Anna was our only point of contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Anna did an incredible job with all aspects of the project. We were able to present our ideas with much more clarity, and the feedback from everyone has been great. Everything she created exceeded our expectations and gave us a sense of legitimacy and even optimism.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Anna had a great sense of what we could contribute vs what we needed from her. She was able to design our website and pitch deck off of placeholder text and fragmented design ideas. She guided us through different logo styles, website elements, etc. All we really had to do was give some feedback on what we liked/didn't like, and she was able to do the rest. She communicated with us daily since this was needed for the tight turnaround. She was extremely responsive and worked quickly, often having updates for our approval within a few hours. She even finished the whole project early so that there would be a safety buffer to iron out any wrinkles before our pitch meeting, which drove the endeavor.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Anna was able to work without needing too much input from our end. We don't have an eye for design, and we honestly weren't really sure what we were looking for. She was able to take a handful of half-formed ideas and create a beautiful logo, website, and pitch deck. She basically single-handedly created our entire company aesthetic. She's also incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond for us.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have no constructive criticism to offer. She communicated clearly, incorporated feedback, and delivered results that exceeded our expectations. We could not have asked for an easier process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Annaco has revamped our website using Wix. They’ve also helped us redesign the look and feel of our overall brand by developing a new logo and color scheme. After redefining our brand image, they created a detailed illustration that explains our technology in a digestible way.

Additionally, they’ve created many digital and print materials, including business cards, presentation templates, t-shirts, and flyers. They’ve also redesigned our social media content.

My main point of contact is Anna (Owner), who manages her team and delegates tasks.

We searched for potential partners online, interviewed them, and felt Annaco would best fit our needs.

We’ve invested less than $10,000 in the partnership with Annaco.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with Annaco in March 2022, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We had initially hired Annaco to redesign our website, but we were so pleased with the results that we decided to engage their rebranding services, which speaks volumes.

As a small startup, it takes time to build momentum, so we don’t have specific success metrics yet. However, our internal team and investors have reacted positively to the new website and brand image, so I’d consider the partnership a success.

How did Annaco Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Anna and her team have been incredible project managers; they’ve consistently delivered ahead of schedule and within budget. We’ve had some project delays, but those have only occurred on our end, not theirs.

The team goes above and beyond; they’re always available and answer emails outside business hours. Anna has been very responsive and efficient throughout each project and has consistently stuck to her word.

Furthermore, they’ve consistently been receptive to feedback and generous with revisions, which has been excellent. Whenever we’ve asked them to modify something, they’ve promptly made adjustments; the process has gone well. We typically communicate via email, phone, and Google Meet. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their small team size has been a considerable asset and their biggest strength. Annaco has worked diligently to meet our needs on time at a reasonable cost.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing Annaco could improve on. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First, I would recommend working with the Annaco team. I’d also advise getting your internal act together before meeting with them because they’re always ready to roll. Once you meet with them, they’ll be off to the races.
