ABOUT AMY BOUGHTON

Amy created her first stained glass installation at the age of eight. The sun catcher still hangs in the window of her father’s home. She earned her degree in linguistics from the University of Montana, but shortly thereafter, discovered that she has a heart full of stained glass.

On her journey to shaping her life around stained glass art, she studied her medium in Europe, Asia and the Far East. While the great cathedrals made a strong impression, she prefers to create a reflection of the individual’s contemporary mind and has expressed this through her work in crafting original stained glass art, since 1997.
