As a client of AMO STEEL DETAILING you will benefit from over 40 years experience in designing and detailing structural steelwork. Over this time we have worked alongside many of the leading fabricators in the structural steelwork industry both in the UK and abroad. Our team has also built up working relationships with a number of engineers, architects and main contractors. We have the ability to create 3D models using various software systems such as Tekla V17 to V2016i, BIM and Navisworks. Our services include; General Arrangement drawings, Detailed Fabrication drawings, NC Data production, Material list generation, production of cold rolled drawings/CAM Data and much more. We also produce designs and calculations for all structural connections including moments and base plate details. 

The AMO Steel Detailing team detail all sized projects from simple house extension lintels through to very large portal frames, column and beam structures, staircases, canopies and balustrades. We can also site measure existing buildings using our own survey equipment should the need arise. Our in house engineer provides us with full control over the design at detailing stage. Full project management is also available to ease the design, development and overall continuity of the project. Clients using us automatically become BIM compliant with their projects due to our software and expertise. We have a unique ‘Contract Variation’ tracking system which produces reports to help you as the fabricator keep track of all changes as they occur on the contract. This structured process involves a full report, with dates, times, material changes, drawing references and costs of alterations and detailed drawings that shows the extent of the change. This has become a vital part of the final account process with our clients, in many cases speeding up and also increasing the value of the final account.
