BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing head of Splitz, an FMCG brand that powers the Middle East with fresh fruit juices and vegetable salads.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire The Amigoz to accomplish for Splitz in the food & beverage industry?
We started our company with a minimal budget, so we hired The Amigoz to help us create a brand identity and personality.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
The Amigoz handled the project end-to-end, starting with building a complete brand identity from the ground up, including defining the brand personality. They managed social media marketing, where they not only created and executed content strategies but also successfully grew the audience to the first 1,000 followers and achieved a reach of up to 1 million within two months.
They also worked on performance marketing, delivering strong ROI through well-optimized ad campaigns. On the digital front, they supported SEO efforts, which significantly improved Google ratings and overall online visibility. Beyond digital, The Amigoz extended their scope to offline marketing as well, designing and executing billboard and print media communications that helped the brand gain substantial attention and recognition.
What are the main deliverables?
The Amigoz delivered a very well-rounded set of assets that covered both our digital and offline needs. On the branding side, they created a complete brand guideline document — this included logo usage, color palette, typography, tone of voice, and overall brand personality, which gave us a clear and consistent identity from day one.
For social media, they provided structured content calendars along with high-quality creatives — posts, reels, captions, and campaign ideas — that were aligned with our brand voice and growth goals. They also designed and managed ad creatives for performance campaigns, which played a big role in achieving strong reach and ROI.
On the SEO side, they shared regular reports and insights, helping us understand keyword performance, improvements in rankings, and how our Google presence (including ratings) was growing over time. Additionally, they supported us with offline deliverables like billboard designs and print materials, ensuring the same brand consistency carried across all channels. Overall, everything felt very cohesive and professionally executed.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–February 2025.
How did you come to work with The Amigoz?
We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they had high ratings, their pricing fit our budget, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results were both visible and measurable within a short span of time. On social media, we grew from zero to our first 1,000 followers organically and achieved a reach of nearly 1 million within just two months, with strong engagement across posts and campaigns.
From a performance marketing perspective, the ad campaigns delivered impressive ROI, with optimized spending and consistent lead generation. On the SEO front, we saw a noticeable improvement in our Google presence — better rankings, increased visibility, and a significant boost in our ratings and overall credibility.
Offline, the billboard and print campaigns generated strong local awareness and direct inquiries, which clearly reflected in increased brand recognition. Overall, the combination of digital growth, improved visibility, and tangible customer responses made it clear that the project was highly successful.
We saw very clear, measurable improvements across the board. On the ads side, we were getting roughly a 3.5–4x ROI, with cost per lead dropping by around 35%–40% within the first two months as campaigns were optimized. In terms of lead generation, we moved from almost no structured inflow to generating 120–150 qualified leads per month, with a noticeable improvement in lead quality over time.
For SEO, our Google rankings improved significantly — multiple target keywords moved from beyond the top 50 to the top 10 positions, with a few even reaching the top three. Our Google rating also improved from around 3.8 to 4.5+, along with a steady increase in reviews. Overall, the growth was not just visible but backed by consistent numbers, which made a real difference to the business.
Social media and paid ads were the biggest drivers in the early stage — they worked hand in hand to build awareness quickly and bring in consistent leads. The targeted ad campaigns, backed by strong creatives, contributed the most to ROI and lead generation.SEO played a slightly longer game but became very important over time, especially in improving our Google rankings, credibility, and organic inquiries. That steady visibility really complemented the paid efforts.
The offline campaigns — billboards and print — also added a strong boost to brand recall locally, which we could see through direct inquiries and recognition. So while ads and social media led the initial traction, the overall success really came from how well all channels were integrated and supported each other.
How did The Amigoz perform from a project management standpoint?
The Amigoz’s project management was very structured and reliable throughout the engagement. They maintained clear communication, shared regular updates, and ensured we always knew what stage each activity was at. In terms of timelines, they were quite consistent with deliveries.
Most of the key deliverables — whether it was brand assets, social media content, or campaign setups — were delivered on time, and in some cases, even ahead of schedule. Even when there were iterations or feedback loops, they were quick to respond and implement changes without causing delays. Overall, the process felt smooth and well-managed, which made it easy for us to focus on the business while they handled execution efficiently.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What stood out the most was their ability to combine creativity with actual results. A lot of agencies either focus on making things look good or just chasing numbers — The Amigoz managed to do both really well. Their understanding of brand building along with performance marketing was genuinely impressive.
Another thing that felt unique was how involved and invested they were in the project. It never felt like a typical client-agency relationship — they treated the brand almost like their own, constantly suggesting improvements and new ideas instead of just executing tasks.
Also, their ability to maintain consistency across everything — social media, ads, SEO, and even offline marketing — was something I didn’t expect at this level. Everything felt aligned, which made a big difference in how the brand was perceived. Overall, it was that mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and genuine ownership that made working with them stand out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Overall, the experience was very positive, but like any growing engagement, there are always small areas that could be refined. At times, having even more detailed upfront planning or slightly more frequent performance breakdowns would have added extra clarity, especially during high-activity phases.
That said, whenever feedback was shared, the team was very quick to adapt and improve, which made a big difference. So while there’s always room to fine-tune processes, their responsiveness and willingness to evolve already set them apart.
