We’re a nonprofit organization. We provide mentorship and career exposure to underprivileged high school students across Waltham, MA.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire American Web Builders to accomplish?

• We needed a brand and website that had all the modern features yet was reliable. It was mainly to earn the trust of our donors and partners. We also wanted help preparing content for a few major grant applications, but we were on a strict budget.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

American Web Builders designed our website from scratch. In fact, they included a custom donation form connected to our Stripe account. Our logo was very cohesive in terms of colors and all. It aligned perfectly with our brand message.

Beyond that, their team wrote and formatted three grant proposals, one of which was a federal funding application that required a lot of technical detail.

They also maintain my website to date, like updating event information, fixing minor bugs, and such, without any extra charges.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw a major increase in site traffic within the first few weeks of launch. Donors specifically commented on the site being easy to navigate.

We also secured our first major grant ($25K), thanks to the clarity in our application.  Now that the site is live, we’re seeing more schools reaching out to collaborate.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They delivered everything on time, although we were a little bit slow with approvals. Their team was always patient and helpful.

We got weekly updates by email, and their project manager was easy to reach by phone. If something ever came up, like a page going down, they usually fixed it within the same day.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They treated us like a big client. Every feedback we gave was given great importance. They provided us with top-quality work irrespective of the package we chose.

Are there any areas for improvement or something American Web Builders could have done differently?

Maybe a project dashboard or something like that would’ve helped us stay more organized. We managed most of the work through email, which worked, but it got problematic at times.
