I’m the owner of a police training institute that provides training for various law enforcement agencies and training centers around the country.

What challenge were you trying to address with Amazon Audio Book Publishing?

I wrote a book and initially contacted them because I wanted information on making the book available as an audiobook.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Once I understood their offerings, I decided to sign up for the audiobook and their marketing services. They immediately put me in contact with the person leading the team, and they started working on improving my website and increasing traffic. Amazon Audio Book Publishing had me sign up for Instagram to assist with marketing the book. 

Some of the things that we’re working on adding to the website are easier ways to purchase the workbook and the book, previous clients that I’ve done training for, and conferences that I’ve spoken or presented at. Amazon Audio Book Publishing is working on keyword research and sent over a long list of keywords to be implemented. They plan on managing Instagram and writing blogs to build up my social media presence. 

Regarding the audiobook, we’re working on finding the right voice. They sent over different options, and we’re still trying to narrow down which is the right fit for the book. Amazon Audio Book Publishing has a studio where they handle the narration. 

What is the team composition?

I have a main point of contact, a QA person, and there are about six other people working on the project.

I found them on the Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing Website. 

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve invested around $6,400 so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve seen an increase in followers across social media. Overall, I’m happy with what they’ve done so far. 

How did Amazon Audio Book Publishing perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Basecamp for project management and phone calls, texts, and email for communication. My project manager is communicative, and I think he’s doing a great job. He is willing to talk whenever I need anything, and even though there is a time difference, that doesn’t seem to make an impact. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been very communicative and responsive, and contacting them is easy. They also offer a 120% ROI guarantee, which is a very cool aspect and should translate into a good amount of book sales. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I can come up with.
