We wanted to create a mobile application for cyclists using electric bikes, which required Solwit to design it both for usability and safety. It was up to Solwit to complete the product comprehensively – going from the design (business analysis, creation of the UX/UI layer) through coding and testing, as well as support for the launch of the finished application in the Google and Apple stores.

We have fully scalable mobile app that allows to manage electric bike by one user and to create a garage, manage more bikes, rent them out, and monitor them.

We were required to complete each task manually, which was very challenging and could lead to human error, given the volume of invoices we are currently dealing with. Invoices and employee tasks surge as the company grows, and automation relieves employees of repetitive and tedious activities. Key facts about the project:

Thanks to Solwit's help, we were able to automate the invoicing process. We obtained a solution that brought our two systems together and revolutionized a cumbersome procedure. This allowed us to allocate the time and resources saved to tasks that are more engaging and impactful in terms of business development.
The software was delivered quickly - the whole development process took a month, due to the great work done by the Solwit developers, and also thanks to the strong commitment from our side. We received a complete system tailored to our requirements, additionally improved by the feedback of the developers we worked with. Although we knew exactly what we needed, enhancements were suggested, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our business.

Machine management module - sending jobs to machines, viewing the current state of the machine, queuing jobs, viewing from IP camera placed in the machine.
Database - to record the history of jobs sent to the machine together with their parameters for the analytical module with data such as material consumption, scheduling of technical inspections based on time worked, recording system user and login data.

At all times the team involved a project manager, a business analyst, and a tester. The development team consisted of 4 programmers and 1 architect.

The Solwit team developed and created a full-featured web-based software application for prepartion and parameterizetion tasks sent to 3D printers and for management of these printers over LAN. The application is fully compatible with the printer's embedded software. A printer application with a database was installed on the client's server. Said database features the storage of the history of tasks and errors sent by the machines in the network.
All tasks sent to the machine together with 3D files can be saved in a designated folder on the server in zipped archives together with files of information on the set of parameters used to perform a given job. In addition to this, the software saves new files of job parameters if the user modifies the default ones. It can also be installed on both Linux and Windows servers and works with either Apache Web Server or IIS.

Along with the dynamic development of our company and the increasing number of products in our offer, we noticed the need to implement advanced analytical tools that would help us manage reports, e.g. coverage margin report and sales records.
To determine the profitability of sales, we obtain information on product prices from various sources: online price comparison websites, producer price lists, and our own sources. We needed a tool that would automatically collect this data in one place and quickly allow us to define our own pricing policy.

We started with researching analytical tools and systems available on the market. We considered Snowflake, Power BI and BigQuery. We spoke with partner representatives of these technologies. Solwit prepared a dedicated system demo for us using BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform. We knew that they had experience in the implementation of such projects, including for the pharmaceutical industry. After comparing the offers, knowledge and experience of our partners, we decided on the solution proposed by Solwit.

The aim of the project was to obtain business reports allowing to increase the profitability of the company. So far, a team of analysts was involved in generating reports, which took up to several days to prepare the list. We wanted to see these reports faster in order to be able to make the right business decisions on an ongoing basis, depending on the changing market situation.
We needed an advanced analytical tool that would analyze information from various sources quickly and unattended. We wanted to implement the project without major investment expenditures. The rapid development of the company meant that information on the profitability of products introduced to our online store's offer has become a key element of management documents.
We wanted to consciously make commercial decisions. The margin predictions have a significant impact on the future of the business, which is why we decided to implement an advanced analytical system. We considered various technologies. Solwit recommended a solution based on Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
After watching a dedicated demo prepared by Solwit, we decided to implement this project. A system was created that automatically and periodically downloads data from many external systems. An unquestionable advantage of this solution is the lack of limitations in the number and type of data sources.
Previously, collecting data took several days, because it was done manually by our employees, and the preparation of reports integrating the data took up to several hours. Today, we receive transparent dashboards presenting structured data from Data Studio in a second, without involving the working time of people responsible for analytics.
As part of the project, our main analyst was trained in the field of Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, thanks to which we can make changes on an ongoing basis. The simple handling of resources in the cloud by our employee allows us to develop the tool on our own.
Today, the system quickly transfers data to BigQuery, with low infrastructure maintenance costs. After implementing the system that allows us to analyze the most important data today, we decided to extend our cooperation with Solwit with new orders in the area of data analytics.

I am the general manager of FarmaProm, the first open and independent internet platform created for the Polish pharmaceutical market. The payout time is three times faster. The transaction processing has been accellerated, without compromising security. The new data warehouse allows to better adjust the offer to customers' needs. The automation of the payout process lowered the costs of the service.
Customers may celebrate at the moment they win. 10x less workloads to be performed, 3x faster transaction delivery, significant transactional cost reduction and customer celebration at the moment of winning - that's what process automation actually means.

Since we wanted to reach global markets relatively quickly, we needed a solution that not only would be reliable, but also had an astonishing array of features to go in line with different customer requirements. Moreover our product needed to evolve constantly, to be perfectly fit with changing needs of the market. Solwit delivered software that we still use, and will use in the next years. To be honest, we do not have the exact knowledge regarding the mechanics behind their solution, and, to be honest, that is the greatest advantage - we can focus on our growth, not worrying about the tech. When it comes to the specifics - Solwit developed the technology background for our two major tools - mAuthor - an authoring tool for publishers, and mCourser - our Learning Management System for educational institutions.
What was the team composition?
As the project has been continuing since a couple of years now, I believe there were a number of individuals involved. What is more, due to the dynamic changes in our cooperation (not only maintenance, but developing new features), there have been different teams involved. To my best knowledge, there are usually around 12 specialists cooperating closely or exclusively with our products.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The authoring tool that we use, and that was developed by Solwit, has been included in the Top 20 Authoring Tools list, held by Training Industry, for three consecutive years (2017, 2018 and 2019). The primary objective when creating the tool was to develop a solution that would allow non-IT specialists create interactive content (without programming skills). And exactly that was delivered by Solwit.

The arrangement of the project has been changing over the time of cooperation, however the high effectiveness has always been ensured.

We have developed a pioneering mobile virtual cash register application for the Polish market. It was subject to the current regulations governing fiscal cash register operation upon release for distribution and had to pass the Central Office of Measures certification.
Prior to the certification process, the application needed to be tested for functionality and compliance with statutory requirements verified by the Central Office of Measures (PL GUM), hence, we were seeking a technology partner who could prepare the software for certification and perform the work promptly and efficiently.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The goal has been accomplished - the COM-approved Virtual Fiscal Cash Register Online can be downloaded from the Google Play store and installed on a selected Android device. The Solwit team pointed out the errors that needed to be corrected. They automated some of the repetitive, manual work and supported us in the certification process. Solwit was also responsible for contacting the certification unit, the General Office of Weights and Measures.
