I’m the owner of Grad School Prep, and we're located in Fort Worth, Texas. I help students with their resumes and admissions essays. I also provide consultations to students to address their questions regarding graduate school admissions.

What challenge were you trying to address with Allison Krogness Photography?

I hired Allison Krogness Photography to capture my headshots.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Allison Krogness Photography told me that they’d like to take pictures of me working so we brought in a bunch of props such as books and office supplies. I had two main outfits and one of them required me to wear a vest instead of a jacket. They were also able to brainstorm different ways to pose and where to best take the pictures in the studio considering the different lighting in many areas of the room. They were able to change the look and feel of the pictures by going around different sections of the room and changing the furniture if needed, too.

On the location, they already had access to the studio, and they could run it on certain days of the month. In the end, I was able to download the zip file of their work.

I only worked with Allison (Owner).

How did you come to work with Allison Krogness Photography?

Allison was an expert in family photography, especially families who wanted their pictures taken in natural settings. When she took headshots of someone I knew, that person thought that Allison would also be willing to take mine.

I also called several photographers, but Allison Krogness Photography was the most responsive among all the companies we contacted. When the team agreed to collaborate with us, we started the project together.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $230.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from September–October 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did an outstanding job and offered cost-effective services. As a result, my family and external stakeholders left positive comments about Allison Krogness Photography’s work. In fact, the pictures they posted looked really beautiful. Overall, they were really nice and had good photography skills.

How did Allison Krogness Photography perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management process was incredible. On top of that, everything was organized. We typically reached out to them in person or over email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their responsiveness and creativity were impressive. Furthermore, they were incredibly fast. Unlike other vendors, they didn’t really mess with my hair and clothes too much. Instead, they opted to take pictures of me in a more natural approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, Allison couldn’t have done anything more.
