We were looking for a platform security expert to secure an exam spreadsheet used to assess students’ corporate finance modeling skills, so students could use it during the test but could not access, reuse, copy, save, or share the file afterward. The solution needed to include advanced security protections, potentially dynamic password changes, and automated deletion or content removal upon submission, along with a secure final exam file, a deployment and management guide, and recommendations to further strengthen security using approaches such as macros, encryption, and restricted-access automation.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They did an outstanding job delivering a highly secure exam solution from end to end. The final implementation included robust protection measures to prevent copying, saving, sharing, or reusing the file after submission, along with dynamic access controls and an automated post-exam cleanup workflow to remove or invalidate the content once the exam was completed. They also provided clear deployment instructions and practical recommendations to further strengthen security over time. Overall, the result was a smooth, professional, and highly effective solution that protected the integrity of the exam process while keeping the student experience simple and reliable.
