We hired Aland Cloud GmbH for providing AWS Consultation Services. We also needed DevOps support to improve our product scalability and deployment process

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We know them by a personal network, an old friend of mine was working there.

They analysed our infrastructure and proposed solutions. Firstly, they dockerized and setup auto scaling for our project. Further, they added CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process. Lastly, they added production incidents alerting system and setup monitoring tools.

We worked with David and Artur.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The result was just great. Now after their work, we handle over 1 million active users every day without any issues.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was smooth - I particularly like the part when we had a meeting with their team. We had standups every two days to communicate the requirements.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I had a feeling that they work 24/7. Though we had timezone differences, all my messages were answered within an hour. Their customer support is the best.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They sometimes write to us out of working hours - though this might be related to differences in the time zone.

The scalability of our product was important because of the growing number of customers. Our platform needed to support more customers and fast performance.

We were planning a huge campaign, hence we needed an automatic scalable website/platform to make sure that the potential visitors won't have any issues with the website.

We're extremely happy with their work because our platform can serve more than 100K visitors at a moment.

Our contact person was Arthur, and it was convenient for us because we did not need to communicate with a bunch of people.

We spent less than had been planned because of smart solutions that have been proposed by the team.

We wanted more services such as website design, but they only specialized in cloud consulting and development.
