I’m the president and CEO of BHFL Group, a training and development company.

We needed someone to provide us with our accounting needs.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I utilize Aims LLC for their accounting and financial services. The project starts with us sending the profile of the client to Aims LLC and telling them what the request is.

They will then set up a coaching call to do a needs assessment and from there, they’ll determine if the team’s services are needed or not.

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with Marvin (CEO & Principal Consultant), but he has a team of accountants and tax specialists that he assigns to clients on an as-needed basis.

How did you come to work with Aims LLC?

I’ve actually known Marvin for about 35 years.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested somewhere between $5,000–$15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been partners for this project since November 2015.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Aims LLC makes sure our clients are getting the best tax advantage, and the company is positioned to get the best tax advantage.

How did Aims LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform excellently from a project management standpoint. They have a good IT software background, which is something unique that they bring to the table.

They utilize high-end accounting tax systems, and we mostly communicate through Zoom, Google Meet, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their federal accounting background and understanding. Aims LLC is also good in terms of mergers, acquisitions, and setting up companies to ensure they acquire the best tax advantages.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could add more team members to accommodate their growth.
