I’m James Nardell, founder of Affiliate Manager Expert LLC, a founder-led affiliate program management consultancy for SaaS, software, fintech, e-commerce, and digital product brands.

I’ve worked in affiliate marketing since 2002 and have managed programs professionally since 2005, working with brands including Real Defense LLC, Paychex, Panda Security, X1, Chowbus, Gaiam, Art of Tea, and others.

I launched Affiliate Manager Expert to give growing companies senior, hands-on affiliate management without the cost of hiring in-house, passive network management, or junior handoffs.

Most affiliate programs don’t fail because affiliate marketing doesn’t work. They fail because nobody is actively managing the channel. Successful programs need recruitment, activation, competitive commissions, clean tracking, fraud analysis, compliance monitoring, effective landing pages, and performance review.

Affiliate revenue depends on the whole system: the offer, partner mix, landing page, checkout flow, tracking, attribution, communication, and commercial terms. If those pieces are weak, even good affiliates struggle.

Services include ongoing management, program launches, Affiliate Growth Audits, program cleanups, partner-mix reviews, recruitment and activation, commission strategy, tracking, attribution, fraud and compliance review, and reporting.

The business is intentionally founder-led. The person reviewing the program is the person managing it. No junior handoff, no account-manager churn, and no “set it and forget it” approach.

My role is to find where the program is leaking value, identify fraud and poor-quality traffic, fix the underlying issues, recruit better partners, and build a system that gives affiliates a realistic chance to drive profitable growth.
