Prior to establishing Advantage Consulting Inc. Julie worked as a professional human resource leader for large multi-national organizations specializing in start-up operations in Canada and the U.S.  She is a seasoned executive coach who has partnered with a select group of international consulting firms and global organizations as a leadership coach and consultant.

With her academic background, entrepreneurial spirit and high-touch approach, Julie has a reputation for helping leaders and their organizations identify leadership gaps and design solutions that build leadership capacity.  She is viewed as a trusted partner and advisor by her clients and is the selected Executive Coach for UBC Sauder School of Business MTLC Program.

​As a life long learner, Julie received her MA in Organizational and Management Development from Fielding Graduate University and is a Certified Executive Coach, a Certified Evidence-Based Coach, Accredited Coaching Supervisor and Certified Mentor Coach.  In addition, Julie is certified in various assessments including The Birkman Method®, Emotional Intelligence Profile (EQP), MBTI® I & II and MRGs Leadership Effectiveness Analysis™.   Skilled at designing and deploying customized qualitative multi-rater 360 assessments, Julie is able to help leaders gain valuable insights on how they are being perceived, and her intuitive and thoughtful feedback invokes trust and courage to make adjustments. Julie has worked with several private and public organizations building their internal coaching culture.  She is a certified facilitator for Coaching Out of the Box®, and teaches coaching skills to internal managers and supervisors that enable them to take a coach approach and have the conversations that matter in today's complex and uncertain workplace.
