At SMO we do customized machinebuilding from A to Z for every industry. We also have our own brands in some industries: PINTRO (machines for the food industry), FleXiever (Recycling) and WIWAM (Phenothyping). I'm responsible for the marketing of SMO and all our brands.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adleaid, and what were your goals?

We had some Google adwords campaigns running but no time and deep knowledge to manage and optimize them, so we were just throwing away our money. That's why we hired Adleaid to manage and optimize our campaigns for us.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We choose for Adleaid because Hannes worked for SMO before, so he already had knowledge about our company and brands, which is very important to quickly have good results

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

All excisiting and running campaigns were reviewed, most of them if not all of them were stopped. We checked the needs of each brand and which markets were most important. Hannes did most of the work with the tools he knew, so we just needed to provide the texts and links. For some campaigns new landingpages were designed by Adleaid if the excisting website did not meet the expectations. Every two weeks we sit together and review the campaigns statistics and if needed or wanted we discuss changes.

I have worked primarily with Hannes who is the founder of Adleaid.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The adwords campaigns were succesfull, all our campaigns generated more leads than ever before. In general, our costs / conversion went down with -45% in a year while our conversions went up by +120%. Our money was being used much more efficient.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was very good, we had short communication lines so I always had a quick respons on my questions or suggestions. If deadlines were missed, it was almost always my fault because I did not have time to provide the needed info.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We're impressed by their quick and easy communication process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For now I am satisfied with the work that has been done by Adleaid. Maybe looking even deeper into campaigns when some of them are not generating leads.

For what projects/services did your company hire Adleaid, and what were your goals?

SEO improving our organic presence, facebook advertisements and also an optimisation of the websites UI/UX.

The SEO has come from learning about our domains authority, and the capabilities of building the website, which Adelaid seemed confident in accommodating - the goals with this were to improve the traffic, the overall authority of the websites domain and in turn increased revenue overtime FB to maintain status quo with paid advertisements.

Adleaid's in house designers understand the vision or intented aesthetic for the brand, increased the incentive for hire. Goals here were to acquire new customers, and build the audiences that use the website back up

SOLUTION

How did you select Adleaid and what were the deciding factors?

I selected the vendor based on a personal feeling that Adelaid had the companies best interests whilst seeming to be well facilitated and accustom to handling brands similar to us, just the know how.

There are a variety of areas we're currently working on, as mentioned previously, the SEO and Fb advertising aspects.

SEO scope of work is entailing building the websites domain authority through the use of targetting keywords associated to the business brand model, based on relevant inventory online, alongside this creating backlinks that build the brands authority, and now also in the beginning phases of starting to create a pillar page for a focus on secondhand clothing through the search engine, working towards better awareness for the brand through it's appropriate makeup for google, fixing prod descriptions, and other aspects on the website itself.

FB has been a mixed focus of building cold audiences through boosted Instagram posts and some engaging copies with images and videos, however the new focus has been built on creating an optimum offer to roll out for Facebook when all things are placed correctly, as FB has become difficult to obtain high ROAS on high spends, so low spends high'er' ROAS have been current focus, until new initiative rolls out.

How many people from the Adleaid team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I have only worked personally with Hannes; we have a pretty good rep-our, I think somebody super valuable is he understands the aesthetic I like, or the understanding of concepts like 'creating cringe visual concepts for christmas content' and achieving that with the content created.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Measurable outcomes would be difficult to determine; most of the projects we have either worked on, or began to invest in, are more long term gains of return like the SEO, which I've been ensured we should expect to notice some increase in website traffic within 3 months, and I can respect that based on what I know about SEO.

Facebook has been harder to determine the outcome, or how to measure it as the 'hard facts' of the cost, would be that facebook hasn't been profitable, as it costs as much as it generates, give or take, but the acquisition of new customers is hard to determine as their value is yet to be determined or values.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The communication is smart through Slack, personalised and informal but structured and streamlined on the video calls. I think for how busy myself and Hannes are with many other ongoing projects, it's handy that we're clear on our weekly calls that minimises the need for over-communication in the week, however when we do, slack is very effective and any queries get resolved, raised or addressed pretty imminently.

The style works, its just how I work and how I like working, so its good for me

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think the initial video from Hannes sending in was still a valuable point; this was the entry to Adleaid as a providing service. His video was a brief analysis of the websites UI/IX, with a few suggestions for some things to improve instant sales. I get these styles of offers weekly, but nobody ever approaches with advise so direct and without all the un-needed 'overglamour' around it, he showed what could be fixed, and I hadn't thought of them.

I don't think I could fault the service in any way from this current point. Everything that Adleaid has done has been beneficial to Gullygarms and me. I look forward to the continue working relationship as we drive in 2022 with lots of focus on getting gully back on the map!

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Hannes from Adleaid sent a complimentary critique and suggestions for our website which led to our initial call. I felt very comfortable that his group had the knowledge and resources to handle the project.

Develop, create, test and revise Facebook ad campaigns, including making videos. Develop, create, test and revise Google and Bing ad campaigns. Daily communications via Slack as needed, and weekly scheduled video calls to discuss progress and next steps.

I work one on one with Hannes, the founder. He has support people who help with the creative and execution of campaigns.

We are targeting a very niche market with the ads. Sales of the related product have increased 10X since starting the project.

Could not be happier with the communication. Slack is used for quick updates, questions and to share data. The weekly calls have enabled us to establish a rapport that I truly enjoy.

Attention to detail, willingness to go above and beyond what was expected, care and concern for my business.

Progress reports with ROI and changes WOW would be helpful.
