I’m the chief revenue officer at a digital health startup. We build medical devices.

What challenge were you trying to address with Acclaro, Inc?

We needed help with web design and our company branding strategy. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, Acclaro, Inc conducted a branding exercise with our executive team to help us develop the foundation of our branding strategy. Their main deliverables for this part of the project were recommendations. Next, we tasked them to redesign our website, marketing collateral, and anything related to branding.

Eventually, the scope evolved to include digital marketing, which they continue to help us with. We’re now working on our sales and marketing strategies, and we plan on working with them on SEO and social media marketing in the future.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with five teammates, including a principal, a copywriter, a PR strategist, a graphic designer, and a web developer.

How did you come to work with Acclaro, Inc?

A previous vendor we had worked with recommended Acclaro, Inc.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $100,000–$150,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in July 2020 and is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The team created a metrics dashboard to help us measure ad impressions and click-through rates. We’ve seen great success with our ad campaigns — so far, we’ve collected 100,000 impressions. We expect that this will eventually lead to conversions, but it’s too early to tell. Overall, I’m satisfied with their work.

How did Acclaro, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Overall, they’ve done a pretty good job. They have to satisfy many of our stakeholders, which makes it challenging at times — the Acclaro, Inc team is often asked to meet very tight deadlines, and they always succeed.

In terms of communication, we primarily use email. They’ve also used a file-sharing tool to present project plans to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their work and their understanding of the healthcare industry stand out the most for me. Acclaro, Inc is familiar with the dynamics of the industry, so they’re able to produce great strategies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they’ve done an excellent job of addressing any challenges we’ve faced. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t rush the process and ensure that you have full executive buy-in to support the project.
