I’m the CMO of Barry Energy, and we’re a 30-person startup within the energy and automotive industry.

We wanted to create awareness for our company to the market in France.

Abel provided us with their video production services to establish our company in France.

They had a full crew for the video shoots and we mainly communicated with the creative director.

How did you come to work with Abel?

We were looking at several companies to pitch their ideas for video content in Copenhagen, and we chose Abel because we liked their approach and philosophy as an agency.

We invested around $15,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June 2020–April 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve received a lot of positive feedback since we launched the video that raises awareness for our company. We were able to build our audience, establish our brand, and explain what we do to the market.

How did Abel perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management was very straightforward in terms of keeping the budget, timeframe, and feedback loops.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We liked that they had a great understanding of sustainability-related issues. They really understood what was at stake how strategic our process was. We were also impressed with the quality of their project management, as well as their creativity.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

To get the best out of their services, you should think about having a project that revolves around sustainability or having a cause or purpose.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CMO of the danish Real Estate company, called RealMæglerne. We have app. 110 offices around Denmark, all operating with physical stores and challenges on the local marketplace.

For what projects/services did your company hire Abel?

We wanted to roll out a nationwide campaign, stating the advantages of using our services, primarily our product called Guldkøber, which is our buyers catalogue. The goal was to create personal stories and spread the message of the product's value, to potential buyers and sellers.

How did you select this vendor?

We have worked with ABEL before, and we are very pleased with their work. The quality of the product (design, functionality etc.) is state of the art and the working processes are transparent and involving. ABEL was selected years back, after a round of pitches from 5 various agencies. ABEL was selected because of their drive and previous showcases.

ABEL is very keen on doing the research correctly and involving stakeholders very early in the process. As a client you feel taken care of, and you leave the first rounds of brainstorming with a peace of mind, knowing that ABEL has understood the task ahead, and will solve the case. In this case, ABEL received a list of our previous customers, in order to identify good candidates, that could work as ambassadors in the videos of the campaign. ABEL conducted the interviews, candidate selections and set up all the contracts, calendar appointments and eventually shot the campaign.

What was the team composition?

I worked closely with the two founders, who are always hands on their projects, and 3-4 other people got involved along the way. Project leaders and creatives. All very competent people.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I will not share any data, but I can tell you that it's one of the most successful campaigns we've run in years - our partners love it, and obviously our customers love it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very. ABEL knows when (and when not to) involve us in the process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I'm very impressed with the level of involvement from ABEL's side. They invest in their clients and the projects. You feel taken care of, with a 100% transparent process from A-Z.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Not in my opinion. Strongest recommendations from me.

We are using apple pulp to create an animal free leather alternative, which we supply as a B2B supplier to different industries. I am Co-founder and CEO of Beyond Leather Materials.

For what projects/services did your company hire Abel, and what were your goals?

The challenge was to create a brand that inspires and attracts consumers but also our main customers. So we have a B2B business model but wanted a B2C branding. Abel was able to combine those two.

How did you select Abel?

We talked to several agencies and tried to get a feeling of the working style of each agency. We decided to go with Abel as we could feel that we share similar values and that we had a good connection from the start. We felt that we were not just another customer to them, but instead they really tried to understand us.

We received the whole package which means that we first identified our core values and what the company/product stands for. We created a clear tone of voice based on those values. Abel designed the website for us with several touchpoints/review points. At the end we had a logo/symbol, persona, tone of voice and website.

Momentum is created, catapulting us past the triple-digit dkk million sales, and keeping now 3rd year +35% top line growth.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are the best class across the board. Exemplary.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Speed for learning curve into the ESSENTIALS ways. No BS approach to feed-back. Willingness to go the extra miles needed to achieve the changes we seek with ESSENTIALS. Understanding some projects has to be low impact on cost side, vs full throttle on others.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Its partly unfair, but I believe in full transparency. So: Stronger copy in English System so QC work is not on the shoulders of account management.
