I’m one of the owners of a digital marketing organization.

What challenge were you trying to address with A2 Solutions?

We had a project related to car care, and it was hard to find developers in the UAE. I had made an initial version of the app with another company, but I wasn’t satisfied with it. I went to A2 Solutions to completely refurbish it.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

A2 Solutions designed and developed my app natively for iOS and Android. I had certain ideas in mind, but they guided me through the process. I also consulted with them on digital marketing, but I’ll be using another company going forward.

What is the team composition?

I dealt with three people from A2 Solutions, including their owner, project manager, and someone in administration.

How did you come to work with A2 Solutions?

They had very good SEO and were ranked first in Ajman. I visited their website, gave them a call, and started from there.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost was 65,000 UAE dirhams (approximately $15,000–$18,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with A2 Solutions around June 2020, and the app was delivered in September 2020. Their original estimate was for 60–70 days, and everything was done in around 90 days. It took some time, but they did give me some revised designs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re looking to launch the app on a wider scale now. We’ve tested it, and it’s working smoothly. The quality of work is really good, and I appreciated A2 Solutions’ workflow and recommendations. They suggested using AWS, which I realized was a very good solution.

How did A2 Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Their owner guided me on how everything would be done, and they delivered in a good time. The additional features they built increased the cost, but it was good value for money and I got good feedback about the app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very much up to the mark and available whenever I want them. I could go to A2 Solutions with any question, and they’d guide me. Secondly, they delivered everything they committed to, unlike other firms I approached.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should increase their staff. There were times when they didn’t have enough resources. The last time I met them, they had a team of 8–10 people.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

A2 Solutions has very good value for money. I haven’t seen many other companies in the region that could provide the same solutions package.
