I’m the owner of Dcams.dk. I belong to a small group of people who’ve started a few web shops in Europe and North America with varying degrees of success.

What challenge were you trying to address with 3z digital GmbH?

We needed someone to manage our Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

3z digital created ads and content for our Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts. They handled everything from the creatives to the segmentation. The only things we supplied were pictures of the product and the Danish translations.

What is the team composition?

I worked closely with Julius (Owner).

How did you come to work with 3z digital GmbH?

A few years ago, I challenged people to see whether or not they could beat my success on Facebook using my own company. 3z digital wrote to me saying they would like to do a revenue share business If I chose them. We worked together for about six months and realized that they couldn’t do it better than I could. I took back my account and agreed to wait for a better opportunity.

Fast forward to a year later, we decided to sell fabric masks, so we reached out to the media again with the offer of running our marketing campaigns — it was a time-sensitive subject, so we needed things to get things moving relatively quickly. 3z came in and gave us an offer for a revenue share at 8%, or a lump sum of a few thousand euros a month.

We ended up choosing revenue share, which was a very good idea from their side — not so much on ours. However, with that being said, we all made money.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent somewhere between $20,000–$25,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from October 2020–January 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The quality of their work was fantastic and they were always there to get a hold of us. We never waited more than six hours for an answer, no matter the time of day. I have no complaints about 3z digital GmbH in general, and we’ll definitely be back again if another opportunity arises.

How did 3z digital GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?

We used email, Slack, Skype, and Zoom. As for the project management tools, we only used Slack to ensure that the grammar and spelling of the content were correct.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Nobody is as descriptive in their answers as much as 3z digital was, no matter the time of day or whatever the question may be. Generally speaking, that’s not always the case with other marketing bureaus. Julius and the team always answered quickly with the correct information that we required.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, no. Maybe their Danish, but other than that, no.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would say to make sure you pay attention to the way they start a new client up. There is a lot of information that needs to be filled out, and I think a lot of people are very eager to get moving. However, you should pay attention to the onboarding experience they’ve made, because it’s really good. It takes a while to fill out the onboarding documentation, but it’s important that it’s done correctly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We already had a pretty good understanding of performance marketing, but I knew we could do more. The team was able to identify all the missing pieces in our campaigns and profitably scale our acquisition.

I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a strategic marketing partner to grow their brand successfully.
