The core competence of our company KAP Stahl- und Metallbau GmbH, founded in Münster in 1995, lies in the manufacture and assembly of complex constructions and systems for both the commercial and private sectors. As a young and innovative medium-sized company, it is our goal to more than meet the constantly growing demands in the trade and construction industry and to be part of the simultaneously advancing digitalization. Because "digitalization" is one of our guiding principles.

With the laser scanners from "FARO", the leading producer in the field of high-precision 3D capture and measurement, we capture and document all kinds of buildings, rooms, objects or landscapes by means of terrestrial 3D laser scans. The scans performed by means of sensors are recorded into digital point clouds. The recorded data can be transferred for further processing in CAD programs, among others, to generate 2D plans and 3D BIM models in the LOD200 and LOD300 standard.
