3D Foundry Labs is a boutique R&D software studio building custom automation at the intersection of AI, computer vision, 3D graphics and software engineering. Founded in 2024 by Technion engineers Eliran Dahan (CEO) and Tal Kenig (CTO), who bring 40+ years of combined industry experience and 13 US patents. Based in Israel, working with clients worldwide.
Every project starts by mapping the client's workflow in detail, finding where manual work, inconsistency or scale limits hold the business back, and then building software that removes those bottlenecks.
Jewelry & gemstone technology
Our deepest domain expertise. We build production tools for online jewelry retailers, jewelry brands, manufacturers and CAD houses. Example projects are:
- AI design-to-price quoting: reads design images and prompts, extracts metal, stone and setting parameters, and estimates prices automatically
- Automated gemstone and jewelry turntable video processing (from 30-40 minutes to about 2 minutes per item)
- Cloud photorealistic rendering at about $1-2 per item, with photo-to-render color matching
- Automated 3D ring generation and parametric CAD for 3D printing
- AI content creation for jewelry imagery and video that stays faithful to the real product
Legacy software modernization
We design agentic AI workflows that convert legacy applications (C#, ASP, VBScript) to modern architecture (.NET Core, React) with a high level of automation, and set up AI-assisted development systems tailored to the client's codebase. The goal is client self-sufficiency, with full knowledge transfer to the in-house team.
We also build 3D product configurators with AR export, server-side rendering backends for SaaS platforms, synthetic datasets and model training for computer vision, and on-premise LLM tools for CAD.
