Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the inventory, credit and security manager of a jewelry store.

For what projects/services did your company hire 2Secure Corp?

We were hit with ransomware April of 2022 over a weekend. 2Secure was on top of it the Monday we came back. The terrorist encrypted our all of our servers and several P/C's .

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

2Secure was recommended to us by a mutual 3rd party.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They assessed the depth of encryption, at which point we contacted our insurance company, and lawyers. The lawyers had a 3rd party that was a go between us and the terrorist. 2Secure rebuilt our exchange server on their site and had a temp email server so we only missed a couple of days emails from our vendors.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The owner of 2Secure worked one on one with me to get our server rebuilt and all of the programs reinstalled. We have many programs and each one is on a different VM.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We did have to pay out the ransom, but we did not lose any data, and no data was copied or sold from the terrorist. We were down 3 weeks, but most of that was waiting on the FBI and lawyers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I was in contact with 2Secure every day. They made a flow chart of what needed to be done, most sensitive to the least and a time line of completion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The dedication and thoroughness of the owner were impressive. He made sure everything was correct and accurate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

2Secure did everything they said they would do. This was in part our negligence to not take an old 2008 out of production.
