17 STANDARDS is a Swiss AI advisory house based in Gingins, Vaud. We help executive teams, boards, institutions and high-stakes brands make sound decisions about artificial intelligence: what to deploy, what to decline, what to retain in-house and what to entrust to external partners.
Our work focuses on three connected areas: AI strategy, AI governance, and generative-search visibility (AIO/GEO) and algorithmic reputation. We examine not only how an organisation uses AI, but also how AI systems describe, cite and recommend it. This matters when brand perception, executive reputation, confidentiality and strategic choices are exposed to generative engines.
17 STANDARDS is not an implementation agency and does not sell software, licences or standardised AI packages. We work upstream, when the brief has not yet been written and the real question is whether a project should exist at all. Our role is to provide an independent point of view, clarify trade-offs and give decision-makers a practical basis for arbitration.
Each engagement is led by founder Pierre-Yves Revaz and is tailored to the situation. Depending on the mandate, the advisory team brings together the required legal, technical, editorial, data-security or communications expertise. We remain deliberately independent from technology vendors and implementation revenue, so our recommendations are not driven by software sales, integration days or recurring licences.
17 STANDARDS works in complex, sensitive and high-exposure contexts, including luxury, watchmaking, private banking, professional services and institutions. Confidentiality is a condition of our practice: client mandates and names are not published without explicit written consent.
Our output is not a generic report or a tool. It is a clear, accountable decision framework: what matters, what is at risk, what should happen next, and what should not be done.
