I’m the head of product at SkyCash, a financial services company. We offer a mobile app that enables quick and convenient payments for parking, public transportation, highways, and railways, serving both individual customers and companies throughout Poland.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy?

We needed help with competitor analysis, UX workshops, UX design, UI concept, UI design of the whole app, and design system design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy has been helping us with a new mobile app. The team has provided wireframes, prototypes, final UI files, and WCAG documentation. Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy has also made corrections to our B2B panel project.

We’ve worked with six members of Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy’s team, including Ilona, Radek, Oskar, Asia, Ania, and Karol.

So far, we’ve spent around $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2023. The B2B project has been completed, but the new mobile app project is still ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t received any complaints about the B2B panel design. We’ll be able to see the success of the new mobile app after its launch. We plan to measure its success by looking at the total client conversion rate, drop rate from each screen/process, and the number of complaints/issues to customer support.

They could recruit more mature UX designers (except for Ilona).

Creditea is a company offering credit loan services, but recently it has designed and entered Buy Now Pay Later payment services.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy to accomplish?

• As part of the project, Zima has created two independent user paths for us: one for new users and another for those who already have a history of using our financing services. It was important for us to design a multi-level user data authentication system and enable the verification of this information by external systems. 
• Zima also focused on ensuring that the entire process was transparent, clear, and divided into logical steps from the user's perspective, which was important for us from the perspective of IPF users.
• Additionally, we commissioned a Landing Page project to promote the service itself.

Zima designed a logical and user-friendly credit application pathway, taking into account external data authentication systems. They also developed UI designs and prototypes for users, categorizing them into new clients and existing Creditea account holders. Additionally, they created a landing page project to promote IPF services.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Designing a secure and intuitive UX flow followed by UI and prototype development for the credit system, catering to both existing account holders and new clients along with registration.

They adjusted to our needs - we have many stakeholders deciding of each part/detail of the path so satisfying all of them was a challenge but Zima acheived the goal and satisfy all of our stakeholders so that we were able to successfully go-live with a state-of-the-art MVP product.

Zima provided a UX audit and user path analysis at the portal, with recommendations for redesign. New architecture and navigation model based on UX core rules. They developed a new approach to the user journey with the redesign purchase process. UX and UI improvement of e-commerce pages in German and Polish online shops, including product page, listings, main page and thematic subpages. The portal graphics were made consistent and redesigned (UI).

We've developed clickable prototypes that allowed trade show attendees to see the equipment in a real usage context. We prepared clickable prototypes for three devices — a kiosk, a tablet, and a ticket validator — so that real users could better understand the usage context and test the train ticket purchase process.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A clickable prototype that was validated with end users on the test conducted at the sales event.

The collaboration went very well because Zima's designers were highly flexible and dedicated maximum attention to our project. We communicated regularly and on an ad hoc basis to resolve issues that arose during work on the prototypes. Time efficiency was a strong priority for us in this project. At times during the work, they came up with solutions that sped up the timeline and met the project requirements. The final success was a result of sticking to established deadlines and acting in accordance with the project assumptions.

I'm the Founder of a startup with the goal to improve customer experience in the HORECA industry. Key factor we addressed: decrease waiting time for meals and services, decrease staff to minimise cost for potential partners as well as allow easy and quick payments in app to further decreasing time spent waiting for check or splitting the bill.
