I’m the CIO of Viking Capital, Inc., a financial services company that helps homeowners nationwide secure financing for home improvement projects. I am responsible for ensuring our business systems are available and high performing and that our information is secure. I have had the best experience working with Patrick at Zevonix.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Zevonix to accomplish for your company?

We hired Zevonix to provide comprehensive IT services for our company. We needed a one-stop shop for our IT needs which are 24/7 availability with the highest level of security and performance.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Zevonix analyzed our business IT requirements and needs and also current risks and vulnerabilities. We received a very detailed analysis report and managed services proposal. We were on-boarded very quickly and seamlessly. Currently, Zevonix ensures that our business assets are secure and that we can function at the highest level. Zevonix manages all IT functions, including asset management, user management, cyber security, website hosting, and Office 365. Moreover, Zevonix provides excellent SLAs for response and resolution time of support tickets.

We had a prior work relationship with Patrick. He stood out as an exceptional IT professional. When we had the opportunity to work with him again, we did. It was an easy decision. He's the best! We chose them over other options because of their services, reputation, and reliability.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Zevonix in December 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

First, Zevonix has helped us transition from our prior managed services partner (who had poor performance) to their team, which we've completed successfully. Second, we have expanded the scope of work we outsource to include website hosting and management. Third, we have a higher security rating and much better customer service regarding user support. For example, our cyber posture rating went from far below average to above average and we've removed one high and two medium-severity security vulnerabilities. Moreover, Zevonix has made enhancements for improved security over vulnerable assets, user security, digital assets, and policies. The team has also introduced cybersecurity training.Regarding customer service, our users are very happy with the quick response and resolution of their issues. Zevonix frequently beats SLAs for resolution, and the team has achieved 100% resolution, with most cases resolved within two hours.

How did Zevonix perform from a project management standpoint?

Our onboarding project was smooth and quick. We couldn't believe how quick and easy it was. Moreover, the website hosting project was over before we barely knew it had begun. We gave the green light to start, and the next thing we knew, Zevonix asked us to test the migration. The team completed the project within a couple of days. Overall, Zevonix handles urgent and critical tasks quickly and with urgency. Other tasks are as fast or faster than expected. We communicate with Zevonix via email or messaging apps or calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Patrick (President & CEO) is the reason we chose and continue to work with Zevonix. The team excels in all the areas that matter most — reliability, capabilities, service, and performance - excellent value! Zevonix goes above and beyond to serve their clients. For example, we had a situation earlier in 2026 where we needed to quickly change responsibility for our website maintenance and management, and it wasn't going smoothly. We asked Zevonix if they could help. Although we weren't under contract with Zevonix for any service related to our website at the time, that didn't matter. We needed help from Zevonix, and they gave it without hesitation. We sorted out the details later, once our website was secure. They absolutely rescued us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for Zevonix to improve. They impress us over and over again with how they manage our relationship and provide services. Everything they do is well thought out, planned, and communicated. We hardly ever have any questions because Zevonix is so thorough and timely with their communications. The team gets the work done right the first time, with every 'i' dotted and 't' crossed.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our previous IT company worked for 3 months to resolve our computer/network issues, to no avail, but Zevonix had our issues resolved on within days.

All tasks are performed a timely manner.  When we have a more urgent need, Patrick responds to us right away.

Outstanding IT support!  Zevonix personnel are knowledgeable, proactive, and incredibly easy to work with.  They are responsive, communicate clearly, and consistantly look for ways to improve our systems before problems arise.  The friendly personalities and commitment to excellent service make them a valuable partner to our business.  Highly recommend Zevonix.

There is nothing I can think of at this time they need to improve on.
