We looked at a few companies but after our initial call with Yan, we knew we would be selecting XYZ.

We had a series of calls with Yan and her team to discuss what type of company we wanted to be and how to convey that in our marketing. We communicated with XYZ on almost a daily basis as we fine-tuned our message for the website and other materials.

We communicated directly with Yan but there were members of her team on many of our calls.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website and marketing materials have received rave reviews. The professionalism conveyed by our marketing material is very important to us as a new company.

XYZ was very organized and gave us access to their project management software which allowed us to know exactly where we were in the process. XYZ was very communicative whenever they needed something from us and were very responsive when we had input or questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are a new company and XYZ Advantage had a blank canvas to work on. They were able to create beautiful and meaningful marketing materials for us in a very timely manner.

I am the director of a small nonprofit organization that works in the K-12 education realm.

We don't have the staff to support a marketing department, and were looking for a contractor to consult on and execute some projects. We wanted to do a complete rebrand and website redesign and were looking for a culturally competent digital marketing person who would understand the scope of our industry and how to best market our mission and message. We also needed support on ongoing email marketing for events and other projects.

We put out notice to our network and were referred to XYZ Advantage. We had never worked with a marketing consultant before and met with their team to better understand the types of services they could provide. They were so informative and made the process seem very easy, painting a great picture of the time and energy they could save our organization by investing in their services.

Over the course of our time together, XYZ Advantage has done a complete rebrand a web redesign, migrated our servers over to Google, streamlined Mailchimp templates, and now migrated our website over to a Wordpress platform for better SEO.

We worked with the owner and chief consultant and a couple graphic and web designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our website is so much easier to navigate, and we've gotten great feedback about the streamlined branding of our marketing emails. On the design front, the graphics have really helped us captivate our donors and engage them in giving and supporting our events.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have since changed workflow to be all web-based in Asana, which has been really easy. We can chat back and forth, upload documents, etc. It keeps things on schedule and communication all in once place.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The XYZ Advantage team doesn't just consult and complete projects for us, but takes the time to educate us on their rationale and gives us the tools to learn how to be better at digital marketing ourselves.

No. We have been so appreciative of how they've worked with us through this pandemic

I owned a niche yoga studio. I was also headed up the yoga teacher program at this studio. This yoga studio was unique as it was not a ‘vinyasa’ or exercise based yoga studio, therefore my business had a very specific niche.

I had run a yoga teacher training for a couple years and was ready to amp up the marketing for the program. My goal was to attract the right people to this teacher training. This training was not the common format for yoga teacher trainings (more classical in approach) and I wanted to communicate that effectively in my marketing.

I had attended business school with Yan and found her very professional. She had just started XYZ Advantage at the time and I found it to be a win win opportunity.

The scope was to promote Kosha Yoga’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. The key deliverable was to recruit more than 8 students for Kosha’s spring 2016 YTT program. To achieve this goal efforts were focused improving Kosha’s reputation and design of the program. Key steps included-

1. assessment: website traffic patterns, website search ability, understanding current client demographics.
2. Campaign strategy designed.
3. Execution of strategy: with included increasing client online reviews, organic website traffic through regular blog posts, and paid SEO through Google ads and social media posts.

At the time of this transaction Yan had just started the business and I worked directly with her.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I still use the marketing strategies and approaches I developed with XYZ Advantage. I learned so much about SEO, Google analytics, and how to harness this information to support my business and spend marketing and ad money effectively and efficiently to bring the right customers to my business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very good. Clear communication. It was very clear what was expected of me in this project and glad we could sit down and develop a strategy that I could work with that had achievable and realistic goals. So working with their team and ours was smooth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How much effort XYZ Advantage out into this project, how Yam was like an clean slate when sitting down and learning about my business before developing a marketing strategy. This approach made a marketing strategy that was custom tailored to my business’s needs while using the most current and up-to date marketing tools and strategies.

Once we and settled on exactly what we needed and how it should work, they worked with impressive speed to get the website up and running exactly to our specifications.

We had one point of contact with Yan. She was always extremely responsive and professional.

XYZ advantage helped us ideate the solution for what we needed, did the research on which solutions would work best for us, and quickly arrived at a proposed website and ecommerce solution. Once we and settled on exactly what we needed and how it should work, they worked with impressive speed to get the website up and running exactly to our specifications.

We communicted through email and over phone calls. XYZ was always extremely responsive - and was always very professional. This was extremely appreciated, because our project had a very tight timeline, and there were often important decisions that they were able to provide immediate input on.

The speed with which they were able to complete projects, and the comprehensive approach to helping us tackle the project. They helped us find good solutions whenever we ran into roadblocks. In general, all around easier to work with than other companies I've used for similar projects.

I have no complaints about the work they provided.

When it came to thoroughness, expertise, and knowledge of the industry, they are no doubt the best I’ve come across. They not only deliver the best results but also are very responsive and always uphold honesty/integrity which is very important to me.

First, we went through a discovery call, in which we captured the needs of the client and where they were currently at. Next, we developed a strategy to expand their lead gen and networking outreach by utilizing a combination of email marketing+LinkedIn campaigns. Draft documents related to both services are reviewed thoroughly and organized carefully in project folders. The aim of the campaign is to deliver as many high ticket prospects for our client in the oil/gas industry.

I have worked with 3 members in total within the team. They included the owner/CEO, project manager, and client relations, and lastly, a content writer who specializes in writing personalized messages for our campaigns.

The project is still ongoing, but the quality content and strategy that was built for clients will ultimately increase their network, sales, and brand identity in their market.

Workflows and communications were solid using a project management platform called Asana. We made sure key deliverables were completed on time and made adjustments as needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They always do a thorough job with their clients and will stop at nothing to achieve results. They were always transparent with clients in telling them what they needed to do to reach their goals, even if it made them slightly uncomfortable. They always put the client at the forefront

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not at all. If anything, they showed us some of the gaps in our process. Their standard for the quality of results and ways of working is truly some of the best (if not the best) I’ve ever come across.

She gave us a Audit of our website to break down exactly the areas we need to focus on. Once we brought them in they started creating content and confirming with us for approval before making any changes. The first goal was to help us get in what she calls the 3 pack or Google map so when people searched insurance we would show up. After that he helped us rank better on Google and made our website more user friendly especially for people on mobile. Now we have a natural flow of leads coming in the door.

We went from not having any calls coming in to 10-20+ calls a week.

They used Asana, we had our Audit, then they started working on content and Copy. It was ready within 2 weeks which they implemented in the first month.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive parts are the results they provide and their communication, which I think is a true game-changer. They really want to make sure we were getting results not just setting something up that doesn’t work

I happy with the results and don’t have any complaints I will definitely be using them for all of my marketing efforts moving forward.

First we identified the goals of the campaign, then followed that with a brainstorm around messaging, landing page layout, form steps, and design. Prior to launching we reviewed landing page and creative mock ups. During launch they created a reporting dashboard and we had bi-monthly calls, as well as keeping in touch on Asana.
