We hired Wyzowl to create a short animated explainer video for our mental health app, Shmoody. The goal was to communicate what the app does and capture our brand’s fun, uplifting tone while remaining professional and emotionally resonant. The scope included: 

• Storyboard and script development based on our product brief and brand guidelines
• Voiceover casting and direction
• Custom illustration and animation 

The final deliverables were two fully produced videos (long and short versions) that clearly convey our app’s value and match our brand style

Glassbox created a video outline and the Wyzowl team worked on video scripts, production, and review cycles to ensure quality. Regular communication and feedback guided the project from initial concept to final delivery.

The storyboard didn't always match the text so we did need to work with them to make sure everything aligned well and the screen was constantly moving.

We worked on an explainer video for our product in an animation format. We provided a baseline script and suggested story map and they refined it, storyboarded the entire thing and then provided a fully animated feature. They also provided changes as we went through the animation process based on our feedback.

The video provided valuable brand awareness and a digestible and light medium to provide information on our product. We have since used it at trade shows, on our website, and on our socials and have elevated the awareness of our product.

They were very responsive and cooperative when we had changes. Their turnaround time was impressive and they hardly ever kept us waiting. If they did, they would communicate why or what asset they were waiting on so we were always in the loop.

Aside from their skills which speak for themselves, their entire team is incredibly friendly and easy to work with. They make sure they put their whole heart into your project and don't stop until you are satisfied. I highly recommend them for any animation needs.

Maybe expand on their styles a little to have a wider variety of animations to offer, but aside from that, they are a wonderful company to work with!

The work included storyboarding and producing three animated videos: a 48-second seller video, a 45-second customer video, and a just-over-one-minute educational video for our customers.

Although our website is yet to launch, the quality and clarity of the videos have already given us full confidence that our message will be communicated effectively. The animations explain our processes in a way that’s engaging, easy to understand, and perfectly aligned with our brand.

We had access to our very own project poral where we could communicate about the project and request changes as we progressed. Communication from the whole team was so easy because of this, nothing got missed, we were notified by emails when a new comment was added to our project for us to action and they responded to our every need.

Create several 30-second to 2-minute long animated explainer videos with English and Spanish voiceover actors to help ArchWell Health members understand the programs and services available to them. Videos were to be used in a variety of ways -- on the website, on social media, and in real-time on iPads at trade shows/conferences or in ArchWell Health centers.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client, ArchWell Health, was tremendously pleased with Wyzowl's work and the clear communications throughout the process. Edits and revisions were made with care and in a timely manner, including specialized services for audience-appropriate Spanish dialect voiceover actors. Analytics from the site and social media channels showed susbtantial traffic was driven and brand awareness generated from cross promotions of the videos.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Despite the differences in time zone (UK --> US), Wyzowl was on the mark when it came to communication and product delivery. Workflows, timelines, project specifics -- everything was polished, professional, and purposefully completed.

Every team member assigned to every task was conscientious in their work and delightful to deal with in correspondence.

Their use of tech tools for project management, flexibility/adaptability to client needs, and creative approaches to/explorations of how to deliver the desired product -- whether the client requested full guidance and direction or came to the table with a clear, defined idea -- is impressive and makes them uniquely positioned to meet a wide range of items on a company's video/content/marketing wish lists.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Wyzowl could have done differently?

There was a change in voiceover actors at one point in the process (unavailability due to illness). A new option was offered and we were happy with the replacement, however, it may have helped to have a backup in place ahead of time to keep the production timeline moving forward. Also, there was a learning curve around selection of a voiceover actor with the correct Spanish dialect for the client audience. Perhaps for future, it would be helpful for both Wyzowl and the client to discuss dialect preferences as not all Spanish voiceover actors have the same accent, tone, inflection, or other nuances of the language.

We could see a higher conversion rate from customers that watched, we could also see improved website engagement on pages where the videos were available.

I'm the product and content marketing manager of PAR, a technology solutions company for convenience and fuel retailers. We offer loyalty programs, payments, and personalized digital experiences to increase customer engagement, visits, and sales.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Wyzowl?

We hired Wyzowl to create an explainer video about our program management capabilities. We had struggled in the past to showcase why our program management sets us apart from competitors, so we needed a video to highlight how we are a dedicated partner to our customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wyzowl did a discovery phase to learn more about our program management capabilities. From there, they wrote the script, hired the voice-over artist, helped us with the style of animation, and created the video. We went through a few iterations for the script, and they were very receptive to our feedback and made edits quickly. We hadn't used any illustrations in our branding in the past, so they helped us develop the look and feel of those.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 3–4 teammates from Wyzowl.

How did you come to work with Wyzowl?

We found them through an online search. We had a call with Adam to learn more about Wyzowl and their process. He was such a delight to chat with that we knew they'd be a fantastic partner. We also appreciated their very clear and straightforward process and pricing.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2023 to May 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used these videos across multiple campaigns, including campaigns run by us and third-party campaigns, which helped generate MQLs. We noticed these measurable outcomes within the first 2–3 months since we used the videos heavily as soon as they were completed.

How did Wyzowl perform from a project management standpoint?

Wyzowl's project management was fantastic. We always knew when to expect deliverables. They were very quick to respond to comments and feedback and did everything they could to ensure our video was done in time for an event where the video would be playing. We communicated via email and comments through their platform.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was impressive. Everyone I've had the pleasure of interacting with at Wyzowl has been so kind and genuinely a pleasure to work with. They go above and beyond to learn your business and ensure they are creating high-quality videos.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only issue I ever had was with their platform. At times, I would submit comments, but they wouldn't post, which would result in delays. Other than that, they were fantastic to work with.
