We had several other web developers and SEO companies in the past that did not delivery on the quality of work that they promised. We contacted WP Suites after being referred to them by one of our clients. They ended up created a new website for us and are currently doing both SEO and our Pay-Per-Click campaigns.

Our goal was to improve both our ranking and exposure while driving up Sales. All goals were achieved and are extremely happy with quality of work provided and the conversions it has lead to.

Our Ranking in google search results drastically increased and our year-over-year sales number have increased for the last 5 years.

If you want someone to tell you the Truth, even it it may not be something you want to hear, then this is the company for you. If they can do something you requested and they think it is a good idea.. they will do it. They will also provide a whole host of ideas and strategies that you will not even know about.

But if you come up with a bad idea, they are not afraid to tell you. This is refreshing in a world of "yes men" type of SEO companies. who often are willing to do an extra project just for the money rather than any real benefit to you.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

WP suites was able to rip apart my website in under 15 minutes and show me some major things issues about it. They were also willing to teach me how to fix many of the things myself (If i wanted... however, i just don't have to the time to do it so I leave it to them), which is something you nearly never get with SEO or web development companies as they often want you dependent on them for everything. This really impressed me and my team and was one of the main reasons we went with WP Suites.

I'm the owner and founder of Mike Staff Productions, and we specialize in wedding services. We provide DJs, photography, and videography services to couples in the Detroit area.

What challenge were you trying to address with WP Suites?

We were trying to juice up our SEO based on best practices. In the past, we worked with a lot of SEO companies that leaned into black hat tactics, which eventually led us to be penalized. As a result, I wanted a company that truly knew what they were doing to help rev up our SEO efforts. That was our first business challenge. 

Apart from that, we knew that improving the speed of our website would help our SEO performance. To that end, we built a brand new website with a different developer who told us he was building it with speed and SEO in mind. When WP Suites looked at it, they told me it wasn’t actually built that way. As a result, the WP Suites team also rebuilt the website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our relationship with WP Suites was a little different from what they had with most of their clients. I wanted our internal team to learn how to do SEO tasks so we could be free from digital marketers in the future. In other words, I wanted a high education component to come with their service, and WP Suites was more than happy to offer that to us. 

We built the website with their team, along with their guidance and coaching. They walked us through the process. We already had the content for the website, so they only worked on the technical tasks. However, WP Suites did help us optimize all of our images and videos to make them load faster and for Google to read them more easily. We also needed help in reporting because our site and landing page weren’t recording statistics in the same way as Facebook or Google. 

SEO tasks are never really finished, so WP Suites is still helping us with the technical side of our paid search campaigns to optimize ads. We’re always trying to rev up the site’s speed and efficiency, so they always come to us with new ideas, servers, and more efficient page builders. 

What is the team composition?

We work with four people from WP Suites, including Edward (Owner), who does the technical tasks. Another person does technical audits and website tasks, helping us create custom code to connect our forms to active campaigns. That person also provides website tracking services for us to better serve our customers and figure out how to target our market. 

Then, another team member has helped build our site from scratch while walking us through the process. Finally, one more team member provides fresh ideas for SEO improvements to tap into the emotional side of messaging while staying true to SEO best practices. 

How did you come to work with WP Suites?

We were introduced to WP Suites by one of the biggest SEO companies in the country, and they brought in Edward as an independent contractor because they couldn’t figure out some of the problems we had. Then, we realized that we only really needed Edward’s technical expertise and not the services of that SEO company, and that was how we started working with him and WP Suites.

So far, we’ve invested around $12,000.

We started working with WP Suites in August 2020, and we’re still working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Now, the website is lightning-fast, and our SEO is improving. WP Suites has helped us disavow over 2,500 toxic backlinks, and Edward has implemented advanced schema for better local and industry-specific searches and data. For the first time in history, our website ranks high locally instead of only nationally. That’s good because we’re really a local company. 

In terms of numbers, our organic users are 24% higher, while new users are up by 25%. Our total sessions rose by 26%, while impressions have risen by 11%. 

How did WP Suites perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team members are experts in their given areas. They’re super efficient and professional. We’ve known from the very beginning that Edward is so smart like he’s not from this universe. I’ve been doing this business for 25 years; having worked with digital marketers and technical people for a very long time, I know that Edward is from another dimension. Moreover, WP Suites is fantastic. It’s hard to find somebody in the digital marketing space who keeps their word and meets expectations, but WP Suites always hit deadlines — they’ve always been ahead of the game and ahead of us in everything. 

The project has also been a collaborative effort. WP Suites shows us how to do tasks, and our team gets busy working. Then, we send them what we’ve done, and they’ll take a look at it right away and get right back to us. We have 2–3 meetings scheduled every single week through Zoom, and they list all the technical tasks they need to get into. On top of that, they send us a list of things we have the capacity to do. We keep moving forward this way, and it’s very fast. I’ve never felt like we’ve been stuck. 

What’s really cool about them is that they’re always on the same page. By contrast, when we talk to different people within an organization, sometimes the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

First, Edward has a vast understanding of technical SEO; he knows everything from site speed to paid search and how to maximize it. He’s in a different realm; he knows more than anyone. In 25 years, I had at least 10–15 “SEO experts,” and they all messed things up. None of their solutions worked, and every single one of them ripped me off. 

By contrast, Edward simply opened the website and instantly knew what was wrong — and we went to work fixing it. There’s no substitute for an experience like that; it takes a long time to get that kind of expertise. He’s definitely put in more than 10,000 hours; he acts like he’s put in a million hours. Moreover, he loves the challenge. He’s done things that several other people told us couldn’t be done. 

Second, Edward keeps his words and gives us more than we feel we’re paying for. His communication is fantastic; he always returns emails promptly, and he’s always on time in every single meeting. 

On top of that, Edward is willing to teach us how to do this work, whereas other SEO companies I’ve talked to don’t want to give us the secret recipe; they always act like they know a magic potion that they don’t want to share. Meanwhile, Edward freely shares his knowledge, making him more valuable. Other companies make themselves valuable by not letting us look under the hood. Eventually, we’ve realized that they don’t know what they’re doing. However, Edward continues to blow our minds by being transparent with us. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. Projects like this never happen as fast as we want them to, but it’s happening faster than it would with anybody else. If we had five Edwards, we could do the project faster. However, one person can only do so much. Edward’s team is great, but he’s the master.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Whoever works with WP Suites needs to ask questions and understand exactly what they’re talking about. Most marketers and business owners don’t know what they’re talking about, so it’s important to slow down and understand in the best way possible what they’re going to do in order to manage their expectations.

Our keywords have expanded tremendously and our content has been streamlined, which contributes greatly to our long-term goals. Though we cannot easily compete with giant brands and entrenched scientific institutions that have been around for decades, I’m still really impressed that we are ranking quickly in certain areas. WP Suites has built a website that is structurally sound and strategically targeted. 

They have an aptitude for using SEO tools expertly and in-depth to achieve results. It didn’t matter how small their team was because they were very good. 

How did WP Suites perform from a project management standpoint?

I meet with the team daily for a 2–4 hour session to really dig into the work. We use email to communicate but fast-track through Zoom. WP Suites probably uses internal project management tools, but I’m not aware which one specifically. We’ve found that the old-fashioned method suits this project best, so we track our progress using a Google spreadsheet.

Everybody that I work with at WP Suites is extremely responsive and always on top of the task. I love working with them because we get to be in the trenches, approach the project panoramically, and drill down into the details of how to execute solutions to reach our goal. We get things done with a strategy in mind.

It’s their intelligence that makes WP Suites unique. The team is able to apply, elevate, and integrate different SEO tools to multiple applications. They’re the ones driving the technology and not the other way around.

Thomas is great at technical audits and back end website issues Ginny is phenomenal at time management and creating a workflow and assisting with content. Dylan is incredible at move the needle for ranking keywords on your website. He has worked with large digital marketing agencies and has the knowledge and expertise to what it takes to win at SEO and Content Refresh Meta Descriptions etc.

Then there is ED the grandmaster he is the jack of all of it and continuously pushes to a higher level and always looks to up his game and evolves with the industry. HE is a true trailblazer and thinks out of the box and most important no matter the task he gets results and leaves you speechless. He always going beyond your expectations and works extremely hard to keep your satisfaction above the rest.
