We had great commercial potential, but we lacked a brand narrative, brand direction, and visual identity system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wonsupona handled three separate projects for us. The first one was a brand narrative to help define the mission, vision, and core messaging of our product. The second one was a naming project that involved extensive research to formulate names, ensuring that they weren’t already taken and that they were on strategy using the brand narrative as a guide. The third one was creating an identity system that complemented the brand direction. This included a comprehensive brief with logo design, color palette, typography, and guidelines for use.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Wonsupona delivered a co-created branding narrative deck that gave our business a story and helped us communicate what the product was, its value, and who would benefit the most from using it. They helped us solve a problem we had with product explainability and positioning. Although we don’t have metrics yet, the feedback we’ve received from users about being able to quickly understand what our product does is an index of how successful the brand narrative brief is.

Wonsupona’s project management was collaborative and brilliant, and they had a short turnaround for deliverables. We primarily communicated through email and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Working with Wonsupona was exciting because we noticed early on that they were process-driven and had specialized experience in what they did. We never felt like we were searching for value because they went above typical expectations. We were blown away by the level of sophistication and attention given to each of our projects.

There was nothing Wonsupona could've done better; they were a top-notch strategic naming and storytelling agency.

I hired Wonsupona to help me find a brand name for my startup. They also provided a tagline & brand story.

How did you select this vendor?

I found and interviewed multiple brand strategists and naming agencies. Although I initially selected a different (cheaper) agency, I ended up hiring Wonsupona after I wasn't satisfied with the work product of the first agency. During the interview process, I was very impressed with Wonsupona's previous naming experience and the team's professionalism & enthusiasm.

To start, they had me fill out a detailed questionnaire and also requested that I send them my existing pitch deck. Once those items were complete, they got to work right away and provided a list of nearly 300 relevant names within 4 days (they dedicated their full resources to the project and finished this initial round of names ahead of schedule). Although I was satisfied with the quality of the names, many were unavailable due to trademark conflicts so I asked that they provide another round of names (which was included in the contract) and they did so without hesitation. They completed this second round of names (which consisted of 200+ names again) ahead of schedule and offered to assist in checking for trademark conflicts. Upon choosing a couple of final names, they provided taglines & brand stories for each.

I worked exclusively with the head of their firm, but I assume there were at least one or two other people involved.

Because of this project, we were able to select what I believe will be an excellent brand name for my startup (which has yet to fully launch). Additionally, we intend on using the taglines & brand stories provided.

I worked exclusively with the head of the firm. Although we had one video call during the project, we communicated almost exclusively through email. The deliverables were provided in a Google document and via email.

Their ability to deliver a high-quality work product on very short notice was impressive (which required them to work over the weekend).

Our company is essentially an asian grocery and food delivery platform based in France and soon to expand in other European countries. I work as a Marketing Project Manager .

We resorted the services of Wonsupona in order to help us find a new name for the company that will sound more international and better adapted to the needs of worldwide clients. Main objective was to find a better name for the company that matches and reflects its brand identity.

After long research and benchmark studies between different naming agencies, Wonsupona provided a complete offer that matches our budget capabilities. Among 5 agencies, we agreed to go with Wonsupona due to their professionalism and reactivity.

To start, they did a brief presentation about the service, the objectives, the plus and all the options that they can provide following our main budget requirement. Then, they sent us a survey to fill in order to understand better the main guidelines to be respected while creating a new name.

Afterwards, a workshop has been held in order to confirm all the points mentioned in the survey previously sent and filled. Finally and within 8 days, a presentation has been done to propose 10 names reviewed by a trademark specialist.

An extra step was a round 2 and find extra names for us to be able to make a decision. At the end, we agreed on proceeding with one of the presented names.
