We did sprint planning sessions with estimates for each task being done. The consistency and increase of the points accomplished for each spint was our main measure for success.

It would really depend on the person and the sprint. There would sometimes be sprints wherein they'd be able to accomplish their tasks on time. There are, however, sprints wherein they would have some unaccomplished tasks planned remaining at the end of the sprint. There were efforts made by the developers, but sometimes it would really be unsufficient. One of the initial developers were quite incompetent, but White Cloak replaced them after about a month or so.

Their timelines of being able to provide their services to us worked with our timeline. White Cloak Technologies, Inc.'s business associates were really quite responsive.

I believe the developers could be better from a technical aspect. They were able to do basic development, but they weren't really engineers in the sense of being able to architect code well. This led to quite a bit of tech debt and slow downs in overall development. The business associate was really friendly so there are no complaints on that front.

Portal fully developed and deployed with all core features functioning (user registration, login, content management, notifications, etc.). At least 80% of member companies registered and actively accessing the portal within the first 3–6 months.

3. DRR Data Repository Established and Populated

Centralized repository deployed with secure access controls and search functionality enabled. At least 70% of identified DRR datasets uploaded and properly tagged with metadata. Analytics or reporting functionality operational, allowing staff to retrieve insights efficiently.

Currently our engagement has been largely positive, but they could improve further their tailor-fitting approach in their interface. There are some non technical staff in our company that would benefit from a more user-friendly design. This is especially important for our member network companies that do not necessarily need an expert knowledge on Climate and DRR.   Offering more flexible customization options could better accommodate the evolving work nature of our foundation. Training and detailed documentation for staff would be essential once all contracts have been upheld. It would give a  smoother adoption and greater independence in managing the platform.

Additionally, while our communication is generally strong, more frequent proactive updates would be appreciated.  Overall, addressing these areas would make our partnership stronger and more effective.
