I'm the founder of an online marketplace called Swop App. We allow users to trade secondhand clothes and other fashion items and provide them with data containing how much carbon emission they saved by not buying new items.

Our mobile app is an iOS- and Android-friendly low-code platform, so we needed a team knowledgeable in generating software and app solutions using Bubble. WeMakeMVP has used an agile approach to build our app based on these requirements and the functionalities we need to be implemented into the platform.

We've already done app testings to guarantee the app's usability, and we're planning to launch it on the App Store and Google Play a month or two from now. After its go-live, we will also introduce the platform among students, so we can get more substantial feedback before reaching out to a wider market.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've initially encountered issues with the speed of the app since it operates on Bubble, which is more optimal for websites — however, WeMakeMVP has quickly addressed this by devising new solutions to improve its performance. We've only had a soft launch so far, but our early users have been impressed with the app's quality and the features it offers.

We're currently in the process of improving the app's UX, so we can implement a Tinder-like feature to help users match with each other based on their preferences. WeMakeMVP is contemplating if they'll accomplish this via Bubble or another platform, but we're confident to achieve positive results given what they've delivered so far.

How did WeMakeMVP perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via Slack and Zoom and rely on Trello for project management. WeMakeMVP responds to our requests quickly — they get rid of any vulnerabilities once they recognize these or we point them out, which proves their respect for our timelines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can't emphasize how much we value WeMakeMVP's expertise in using Bubble. I know that a lot of companies have avoided this platform because of its complications, but WeMakeMVP has creatively shown us what it's capable of accomplishing when it's accurately utilized.

I can't think of anything they haven't addressed.

We Make MVP was hired to build EasyEstimate.ai — an AI-powered lead qualification tool for generator installers. The initial version included an AI-like questionnaire, AI-based estimate generation, PDF export, installer dashboard, automatic follow-up notifications, mobile experience for homeowners, landing page.

We Make MVP, collectively with the client, identified the primary scope of the MVP to validate the product idea, designed wireframes and final UI, and developed the MVP, integrating AI capabilities and advanced UX use cases. We Make MVP implemented both the app and the landing page,

We successfully launched the MVP within the estimated timeframe, which allowed us to start onboarding installers and test the product early. The initial feedback was positive, the user experience intuitive, and the AI was implemented in a way that generated precise estimates for installers.

This company has team members who were very skilled in their expertise and have assigned different people for development aspects, like UX design, development, and QA. They also take their time to do extensive research before development to ensure that the MVP is created flawlessly. They were not quick to jump on a solution without doing extensive testing first, which was essential for proper engineering practices.

Some areas of improvement could be to create a Kanban board that they can share with their clients with progress of tasks divided in terms of UX Design/Development/QA to make sure that clients can continue to keep track of items as they go.
