Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a national medical spa company, providing non invasive laser based aesthetic treatments and services. I am the Vice President of People & Strategy, overseeing the marketing of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Wedgewood Marketing, and what were your goals?

We hired WW Marketing to manage the digital buys, optimize our website and monitor ad spend & lead generation for the most ROI.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

With his previous experience in the aesthetic industry, we felt that this would be a natural fit. We also liked the prospect of working with a smaller firm that would be able to provide the personalized attention and quick turnaround necessary for us to see bottom line results as quickly as possible.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.

We provided historical data and analysis regarding our then current marketing plan and ROI for the specific segments on this contract. WW then suggested a discovery phase to A/B test current ads vs new creative and ad copy. We met/meet weekly to review the previous week's performance and discuss any market/trend changes. WW Management channels include Paid Facebook, PPC, AdRoll/Retargeting & Display advertisements.

We work directly with Alexis himself.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The result of our ongoing partnership with WW thus far is that our ROI for all relevant channels has increased by 200%. Our page rankings in regards to SEO have also seen a dramatic increase. Previously our page ranking for SEO was on page 10+, where we are now seeing ranking on page 1-5.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We meet weekly to discuss the previous week's results, and often communicate daily with any other miscellaneous projects or questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We find that working with WW Marketing we are amazed at the personalized service and attention to detail and initiative that we receive. We never have to follow up to determine the status of an assignment or project, WW is always very communicative and ahead of the curve. In every meeting, WW always comes with data driven research to support his suggestions for new channels and/or any adjustments to current campaigns.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. We are more than satisfied with the results, workflow, and new ideas that WW has to offer.

I’m the CEO & co-founder of Wooden Robot Brewery.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wedgewood Marketing?

We’d been operating for around five years and wanted to refresh our marketing strategy to help us keep up with our competitors. We were looking for someone with experience in our industry to help our marketing team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wedgewood Marketing helped us with our SEO efforts. They work on our website copy to make sure we were showing up on search results. Specifically, the team conducts keyword research to optimize our site. Additionally, they’ve listed us on about 20 online directories to help boost our monthly website traffic.

What is the team composition?

We only work directly with Alexis (Founder & CEO), who works closely with our marketing team.

How did you come to work with Wedgewood Marketing?

We wanted to work with a local company. We received offers from three vendors, but Wedgewood Marketing was the best fit.

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2020, and it’s ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The project has been pretty successful. Their efforts have secured a 25% increase in monthly site traffic. The increase in brand awareness we’ve gotten has driven our sales up. Wedgewood Marketing has definitely helped our business grow and stay relevant despite the challenges we’ve experienced due to COVID-19.

How did Wedgewood Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m happy with Wedgewood Marketing’s project management and communication style. We always know where we stand at any time because the team is great at updating us. Most of our interaction before the COVID-19 pandemic was in person, but we’ve now shifted to email and phone calls. It’s easy to collaborate with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Wedgewood Marketing team is very hands-on and works hard to help us figure things out. They’re willing to work closely with us and collaborate. Furthermore, the team took the time to understand our brand and our pain points. We really appreciate how they’ve utilized their expertise to help us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be easier if they offered graphic design services, too, but it’s not a big issue.

Have an idea of what you want and how you define success. Having clear goals will allow Wedgewood Marketing to help you get there.
