I am in charge of finance and operations at an IT services company specializing in e-commerce.

What challenges were you trying to address with Webstarted?

We initially engaged their services for hiring processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webstarted has been my right hand for finding new talent to fill development, project management, and QA roles. Whenever we have a position we are looking to cover, we provide them with the job offer and description. Webstarted handles all the hunting, filtering, preselection, and initial interviews. 

After Webstarted completes this process, we conduct interviews and decide which candidate is the best for our expectations. We handle all the onboarding processes on our side. We also use them for staff augmentation for some specific roles. 

What was the team composition? 

I’m in touch with Javier (Founder & CEO), Rocío (COO), and a manager. I know they have a bigger team behind the scenes, but I don’t know how many they are. 

How did you come to work with Webstarted?

Webstarted was already our service provider when I started working with the company. However, I’d worked with them previously. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent about $250,000. 

What is the status of this engagement? 

We started working with them around May 2019, and it is an ongoing collaboration.

We’ve hired them because we want to improve our services and we’ve been satisfied with their work.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

We sustain them by working on the project. In our case, it’s not that we have a budget for the candidates, but they’re able to provide candidates quickly. They are also on time when it comes to deadlines and compliance. We communicate through emails and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I recommend someone, I know I will get quality work from Webstarted. They’re reliable, flexible, and go above and beyond for what I need on a daily basis.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything because they’ve done an excellent job so far.

rigor on filtering became sometimes additional effort for the in house team and hiring managers, I would work more closely in refining the criteria in the future
