I’m the content marketing senior manager at FieldPulse, a field service management software company. We provide an all-in-one, customizable software platform for field service businesses, offering tools for scheduling, invoicing, customer management, and workflow automation to streamline operations and support business growth.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Webstacks?

We were struggling with a poorly built headless CMS that wasn’t allowing us to move quickly. We came to Webstacks looking for a solution to allow the marketing team to have more control over the website without always requiring dev support. We needed it to be scalable and had been dealing with a variety of website crashing issues over the course of a few months that we needed resolved.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our primary engagement with Webstacks was to transition our entire marketing website backend CMS into a more modern and flexible platform. Specifically, they moved us from Strapi to Sanity and redesigned our schema architecture to be efficient and scalable. They also built out a previously designed home page and designed and built a new top nav for our marketing website.

How did you come to work with Webstacks?

They were referred to me and highly recommended. Moreover, their past work spoke for itself.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2025, and the engagement concluded in May 2026.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been able to publish website content more efficiently. Previously, it would have taken us nearly an hour to publish a blog, and now, we can do it in 30 seconds. We’ve also reduced website downtime; we don’t experience downtime at all anymore, which is a massive impact. Moreover, our team productivity has shot up. Webstacks has put us on Sanity, which has a connector with Claude that we can leverage for really efficient website content management and optimization. For example, I was able to add alt text and descriptions to 600 images in two hours through an automation with the CMS that they created. We can also preview changes on the frontend automatically, which previously would have required a staging build that took over five minutes any time we made a change.

How did Webstacks perform from a project management standpoint?

I really appreciated the Webstacks team, specifically Chelsea and Nikan. We required a very quick 6–7-week turnaround for the CMS migration, and they were able to meet the deadline. They also provided plenty of time for us to report bugs and were very efficient in managing that. We mainly communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were incredibly reliable and very professional, and had a great grasp of what we required. Everyone we spoke with on their team was highly competent with website development and was able to communicate with our team effectively. We had also been burned in the past by a web agency that caused two years of issues for us, and Nikan and the team were completely understanding and went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of during the entire project.

Cribl is an AI platform for telemetry that helps IT and security teams manage and get more value from their data. I’m responsible for Cribl’s web platform, leading the strategy, development, and optimization of our digital experience.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webstacks?

We needed to evolve and scale our digital experience. Our goals were to accelerate the delivery of new web experiences, improve the quality and consistency of our design system, support ongoing experimentation and optimization, and strengthen the technical foundation of our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webstacks provides UX, design, and engineering services. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of our design system, front-end engineering in Next.js, GitHub repository management, CI/CD and deployment workflows, reusable component development, new feature implementation, landing pages, and ongoing platform enhancements. Webstacks works across virtually every aspect of our marketing website, including core site components, landing pages, product and solution pages, navigation and shared UI elements, and reusable design system components. The team also supports broader platform initiatives, including front-end architecture, performance optimization, experimentation, accessibility, and deployment infrastructure.

What is the team composition?

We work with 3–4 teammates from Webstacks.

How did you come to work with Webstacks?

We found Webstacks through a referral. We chose them because they combined strategic thinking with exceptional execution. The team brought deep expertise in modern web architecture, design, and engineering, along with a strong portfolio that demonstrated they could deliver at the level we were looking for. Having a single partner that could support strategy, UX, design, and development made them a natural fit for our team.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Webstacks around July 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Webstacks has helped us improve both the speed at which we deliver work and the quality of the website itself. Together, we’ve strengthened our design system, modernized our technical foundation, improved page performance and core web vitals, and established a more reliable development and deployment workflow. The team’s partnership has enabled us to ship new features and experiments more quickly while maintaining a fast, accessible, and scalable website. Just as importantly, Webstacks has become an extension of our team, allowing our internal resources to focus more on strategic initiatives while they execute at a consistently high level.

How did Webstacks perform from a project management standpoint?

Webstacks’ project management is amazing. The team delivers on time and within budget. We communicate via virtual meetings and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What impresses me most about Webstacks is how well they’ve adapted to our team and ways of working. The team hasn’t forced a rigid process; instead, they’ve continuously evolved alongside us as we’ve refined our planning, prioritization, and delivery workflows. Over time, our partnership has become increasingly efficient, allowing us to deliver higher-quality work at a faster pace. Webstacks truly operates as an extension of our internal team rather than a traditional agency. We barely need traditional stand-ups these days; that time has gone to hands-on keyboard work.

Webstacks developed a comprehensive design system for our website and swiftly developed a series of content models to leverage in Contentful to put together and maintain our website easily. The Webstacks team is made up of great communicators and subject matter experts. We had very aggressive timelines, and the Webstacks team worked hard to deliver.
