I'm the owner of a villa called Skyta in the Carpathian mountains and founder of Skyta rafting center for active recreation

We needed help with website design.

How did you select this vendor?

We met the vendor's representative at our villa: they stayed there for a while to rest. After friendly communication, we realized that we had met people we sought to make a UX/UI update for our website.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They worked closely with me to design and create a solution quickly. We started with the mood boards and wireframes and continued with the home page design. After my approval, they went on to design the other pages. When the main page design was ready, they hooked up the frontend dev, and the work continued in parallel to get the project to meet the deadline. I'm not an expert in website development, but I especially liked this one.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Since the beginning of the project, I’ve had the same project manager, and he’s been amazing. We communicated during the primary development phase, but we also had weekly updates including, delegation, feedback, and bug fixing. Overall, he’s been very responsive. I have also worked with developers, but we went through the project manager, which worked well.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I'm thrilled with the product. Our website is live and working well. They delivered within the set timeframes; that's very important.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We talked daily to their project manager on the operational aspects of the project. I also had a separate conversation with CDO Webmil Web production about how things were going. Our needs have always come first. The vendors' written explanations were good, and they were proactive in having conversations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have an excellent value for money is excellent but high quality. Webmil Web-production team can look at everything as a whole package opposite to other developers with a much narrower focus. It was just right what I needed! I was impressed with their responsiveness and customer focus.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Overall, I’ve been pleased by the result. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, but nothing comes to mind.

We have choosed Webmill, because of sense of style, amazing portfolio and cases. Their professionalism was a key factor to cooperate.

We had to rebrand everything: from logo till ecobags. So Webmill has created an amazing stylish company style, with design all of necessary things like pens, planners, cups and so on, and, of course, different styles of branding materials, what made life of our marketing managers much easier. By the way, the most difficult task was to create a new interesting website, which can attract a potential customer. And this task was done scrupulously.

We have been working with graphic designer, digital designer and copywriter.

I'm the Head of content-marketing department of a famous Ukrainian brand Kochut. Our company crafts designer jewelry and wooden furniture. We are in the market since 2013.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webmil?

We needed a full redesign of our site, because it looked a little amateurish. We decided to update its design completely and add some freshness. Our main goal was to make people feel the power and seriousness of the brand through the website.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to keep the minimalistic design. Make it more intuitive for the user. Create new landing pages without turning into a classic eCommerce store.

SOLUTION

How did you select Webmil?

We decided to contact Webmil thanks to a recommendation of our client, who is a professional designer. Webmil knew about us and they were very pleased with the opportunity of cooperation.

The main factors for making a decision were their high level of competence, which they demonstrated during the presentation, and their great enthusiasm to work with us.

When we signed the contract, Webmill immediately got into work. We have memorized the brief so that they know about our wishes and goals. A week later, we were provided with the concept of future pages. After approval, they continued to work on creating complete layouts.

There were no further calls because we were resolving issues through Telegram or directly in Figma. When all the layouts were complete, we set aside one week for editing. Webmill closed the project successfully and accurately in time.

What was the team composition?

We were introduced to the entire team that worked on the project, but the main communication was through project-manager Zakhar. He is a true professional and successfully coordinated the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's too early to talk about any results, because our programmer must now implement all this. But we are in great anticipation and believe that the final result will have a great impact on the company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective and easy. We didn't have any communicational problems.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have amazing design taste and surely know how to make something with style.

Are there any areas for improvement?

More likely no than yes. I just wish they had studied our site a little more, because some of its elements were missing in the initial layouts. But as soon as we pointed them out, the problem was solved very quickly.

We use Webmil as a subcontractor for our own customers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have built a social media sentiment analysis PHP platform with the help of Webmil. We have also used Webmil for WordPress development, as well as a Ruby on Rails content exchange platform.

For our first project, we used 3 fulltime developers from Webmil, 2 PHP ones, and one frontend resource. Our WordPress project used one PHP developer, and our Ruby on Rails project had one fulltime resource.

How did you come to work with Webmil?

We were looking for Ruby developers. Webmil was recommended to us by common friends.

How much have you invested with Webmil?

The total cost of our development with Webmil has been between $50,000 and $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

All of our projects with Webmil have been successfully completed.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

I was satisfied with Webmil's technical skills.

How did Webmil perform from a project management standpoint?

We have used them as an add-on to our own team, so we have managed Webmil's resources ourselves. I didn't have any experience with assigning whole projects to Webmil, but project management was quite easy, and there were no issues.

What did you find most impressive about Webmil?

Webmil has experience in working with big data and large transactions. This was one of the reasons for choosing them for our larger project. For smaller tasks, Webmil has done the job in time, and with good quality.

Are there any areas Webmil could improve?

No. We've managed Webmil directly, and were happy overall.
