Key deliverables included competitor research, performance analysis, content gap identification, and clear action plans to execute and track results.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project delivered measurable improvements in content quality, stronger targeting, and better alignment with user intent. We initially saw increased search exposure in Google Search Console, followed about a month later by significant gains in AI visibility for the selected prompts we targeted, and then a noticeable increase in traffic. 
Based on that progress, we kept the subscription in place for ongoing maintenance, improvements, and continued content gap closure. This remains an ongoing process because competitors are constantly updating their offers, services, and information, so success also included consistently identifying and closing new gaps as they emerged.

Their project management was excellent, and we were genuinely impressed by the team’s professionalism. They delivered on their commitments, responded to emails promptly, and provided consistent support throughout the engagement. What stood out most was their depth of knowledge and their ability to guide us toward a stronger, more successful online presence, which was one of the most valuable aspects of the project.

What impressed us most was the platform itself. The level of detail, accuracy, and thought behind each feature and option was outstanding, and it felt like almost everything we needed was already built in. It was clearly engineered with a deep understanding of real business needs. We were also very impressed by how consistently the company updated and improved the platform. 
When we first started, we were trained to research competitors manually, and just a couple of months later they introduced an additional platform that handled the process accurately and automatically, which showed a strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

Every system always has room to do more, but nothing critical comes to mind. Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience and did not see any major areas that needed improvement.

The system allowed us to track price changes and special offers, enabling us to stay competitive. While exact numbers are hard to quantify, our marketing team has seen improved ad performance and conversions since leveraging the data from Web Carrot’s system.

Once we provided competitor URLs, the system handled scraping and tracking automatically, which was excellent. Any questions we had were answered promptly, and they also provided clear documentation with useful links for easy understanding and use.

The cost per competitor tracking and data scraping is unbeatable, but what impressed us most was the depth of the reports, exceeding our expectations. They come across as a young, energetic company, and during our use, they rolled out a significant update, showing their commitment to continuous improvement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something WEB CARROTS could have done differently?

The system efficiently fetches and scrapes competitor data, which is resource-intensive, so reports take 24-48 hours to process. While we're not in a hurry, a faster turnaround would be a great improvement. That said, we don’t see this as a problem, just a potential enhancement.

What challenge were you trying to address with WEB CARROTS?

We needed help with our SEO to get us on ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI search engines.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We subscribed to WEB CARROTS' agency-grade plan, which included VIP email support and a dedicated analyst. We used WEB CARROTS' platform for scraping competitor data and SERP (search engine results page) for each top competitor. The analyst helped us map the competitor list based on AI search so we could analyze the correct competition. Then, we did a content gap analysis and used other sophisticated tools like competitor comparison to see how they compete with each other. We also received a full web page synopsis and compared our site with a ranking score. Finally, we ran a tool that helped build trust with suggested FAQs from authoritative sources.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

After not showing up at all in AI search terms, we're now showing up on ChatGPT and Perplexity. We started to see these sources in Google Analytics about a month after starting and about two weeks after the first update of the website with WEB CARROTS' action items and filling the content gaps. Today, almost two months after we've started with WEB CARROTS, AI search referrals are about a third of other traffic, mainly paid advertisements. If this continues to increase, we're likely to reduce paid advertisements.We've also seen some changes in Google's SERP, but this wasn't our goal. On AI, we've gone from 0 to showing up as options 2–4 in AI searches, and we continue with this project every month. We're analyzing some same for tracking, but new competitors are showing up on AI search apps, so we've updated and continue to close content gaps and try to outrank every possible topic.

WEB CARROTS is a top-notch company. They're doing everything they can to accommodate us. First of all, their system makes us feel they're thinking of every detail. They keep updating the system; the trust tool, the competitor grouping, and more were added after we started the subscription. Also, their agency-grade VIP support is very good, as well as the documentation in terms of guides. Above all, the analysis they dedicated to us for 30 days was the key to our success, as we had no idea where to start with the correct way to find competitors on AI apps.

I can say in one word: focus. They're only focused on closing content gaps, and apparently, their formula works to get people on AI search. There's nothing else they offer, no crazy colorful reports no one uses. This is it: their focus.
