I'm the Brand Manager at Transchem Group. We manufacture car wash chemicals for professional car washes and dealerships around the world.

We hired Wanderland to update our Transchem Group website. We wanted to be able to show off the full breadth of our product offerings online, something our old site was not effective in communicating.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had previously worked with Wanderland on a separate project and were pleased with the results.

They completely redesigned our website using webflow. We submitted a scope of work document at the start of the process. After that they moved to a high fidelity wireframe. Once we confirmed the wireframe it moved to prototyping stage where we provided the required assets. After that it moved quickly into production.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with both Michael and Francois. Michael is in charge of Business Development and Francois is the web designer and webflow guru.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The navigation and product catalog on our new website is vastly improved and we've seen an influx of qualified leads on our contact form.

The project timeline was tracked through Asana and communication was done with Slack. They were very response and always on top of timelines if change was needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were able to pull ideas and design elements from other companies that we liked and implement them seamlessly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We don't have any feedback on improvements. They were always very communicative and quick to handle any issues that arose.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc.?

I needed to create a website for my new business, so I engaged with Wanderland.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wanderland built my website from scratch in Webflow, and they then migrated it over to Shopify. For its design, we required the site to be on-brand, contemporary, modern, and user-friendly to help us drive conversions.

Initially, I shared with them a lot of references from other sites that I liked, pinpointing the qualities and features I liked the most about those sites. From there, we collaborated on defining the features and characteristics that made the most sense for my business. Finally, they built the website and made its content SEO-friendly.

What is the team composition?

We worked with two people from Wanderland: the account lead and the creative person.

How did you come to work with Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc.?

I read about Wanderland in a Canadian business newsletter. Originally, I reached out to them for a different reason — they offer conversion rate optimization services, which we were looking for. Still, when I talked with them and learned more about their services, I was also looking for a website service provider. We had a couple of conversations about my website development needs, and I felt that they would be the right partner to move forward with for that project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2021 and launched the website in October 2022. Our contract ended when we launched the website, but Wanderland is still available for post-launch services. Whenever I need something related to the site, I can contact them, and they charge me hourly for support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Given that the site has been recently launched, I don’t have any metrics to share. However, the feedback I’ve gotten about its design, functionality, and UX is outstanding. People have been extremely impressed by the website, and it has been well received.

Wanderland’s project management was excellent; they were very strong in that regard. We typically communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Wanderland was extremely driven, and they took an incredible amount of pride in their work. They wanted to ensure we were happy, and it was very important for them to be proud of what they did for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I absolutely recommend working with Wanderland. Be as clear as possible about what you like and dislike, and they’ll do a fantastic job at addressing that.

I’m the director of strategic initiatives for Turtle Wax Pro, a professional car wash chemical company.

We were looking for someone to rebuild our site because our previous website was very difficult to maintain, and it was lacking in functionalities.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wanderland developed our entire website from scratch and utilized Webflow as the main platform to develop it.

We started the engagement by helping us understand our goals and what success would look like for us. We developed a full site map and coded the entire infrastructure, as well as some design assets to get it up and running.

Our main points of contact were the two co-founders.

Wanderland was a referral from a creative director who had previously worked with them.

We invested around $20,000 CAD (approximately $15,400 USD).

We worked together from February–May 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s a bit early for us to look at metrics, but they delivered a platform that performs optimally and helps us rank at the top of search results in terms of SEO.

Furthermore, we’ve been able to capture leads as more and more people have been reaching out to us to buy our products. It’s a big win for us and it’s something we expect to continue to improve.

How did Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed well from a project management standpoint as they were highly involved and communicative in the overall process.

We typically used Slack as a central point of communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their plan for developing the website was very clear and easy to understand, and that ultimately gave me a lot of confidence that our project was being managed well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they can implement a project management tool like Asana or JIRA to better organize the project — other than that, I was very happy with the process and it was an overall positive experience.

If you’re looking for a lean team with a good vision, I would strongly recommend working with Wanderland.

I’m the content marketing manager for Healthie, a B2B SaaS startup. We’re based in New York City, but we’re a virtual company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc.?

We had migrated our website from WordPress to Webflow, and we needed a team to help maintain and optimize our Webflow site for conversion. We needed contractors that were able to act as an extension of my marketing team, and we needed them to be very familiar working with fast-paced B2B SaaS startups.

We needed our website to provide information to the many different sectors and types of healthcare professionals that we serve, explaining how each of those different specialties can leverage our platform. The ultimate goal was to sign up website visitors for trials of our software. 

We’d had another designer build out the site, but we were not going to have them maintain, update, optimize, or otherwise make changes to the site. We’d done some research and determined that we could find a more cost-effective partner to address ongoing website improvements.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. maintains, updates, and optimizes our Webflow website with the goal of increasing free trial conversions. Early in the engagement, we met with them to discuss our goals. They've since set up detailed Google Analytics and event tracking, including Google Tag Manager. They create new landing pages and help us run A/B tests to optimize those pages.

We work with Michael (Co-Founder & Head of Business Development), who manages the business side and serves as our project manager, and François (Co-Founder & Head of Design & Digital), the website's designer.

We began working together in May 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

One incremental change that we tested on our pricing page resulted in an 8% increase in that page’s conversion rate.

How did Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

I’d score them 100% for project management, communication, meeting deadlines, and staying on budget. 

Communication is one of their strongest points. Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. always communicates how long they expect our experiments and implementations to take, and they deliver on their deadlines. Michael serves as our project manager, which helps us stay aligned. 

We hold monthly maintenance calls and — when necessary — additional calls. We communicate and coordinate via Slack, email, Monday.com, and Google Meet. Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. sends landing page design mock-ups that we provide comments and feedback on via design software. They respond quickly to messages and address urgent issues in a timely manner — they’re always open to discussing things further when necessary.

They’re very easy to work with and very dedicated to our projects. I really do feel like they’re functioning as a part of my team, and they’re an asset. They’re just a pleasure to work with overall.

They’re great communicators, very flexible, and accommodating. Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. always makes time for us. They really listen to my team’s requests and needs, and they are always willing to work with us to achieve our goals.

Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc.’s true value is that they can make data-informed website optimizations. Any run-of-the-mill designer can just implement changes — but Wanderland Marketing Agency Inc. can continuously improve your website’s performance using data and analytics.
