For what projects/services did your company hire Voquent?
To raise awareness around our brand positioning - FOR GLORY - we executed five commercials in-house. Each was voiced in English. Due to the success of the campaign, regional market teams requested localised versions in a variety of languages.
This was not something we could achieve in-house, so we started looking for suitable partners.

We needed five films translated and voiced in five different languages. The goal was to reach specific markets in a more meaningful way.

I found Voquent from their work on a video game I'd played called Disco Elysium. They'd done a quick interview with the game's creator. I was really impressed with the voice acting in the game, so being a gaming company ourselves, it seemed a natural fit.

I don't have specific metrics to share since the ads aren't live yet, but I can tell you that reaction from the local market teams has been overwhelmingly positive.

When we want to cast a character for our game, we contact the company. They respond with around a dozen voice samples from their registered talents.
We choose a few to audition, and the company books them in for a recording session. Once we've listened to those, we make a final selection from our favored voice actors to play the part, and the company books them for another session.
The following voice recordings usually consist of around 30-40 lines of dialogue, designed to portray a broad range of emotions. These recordings are put into our game as the voice of the character in question.
