We created a storyboard and script for the animation, once the script was approved, we contacted Voquent to provide a quote and find a suitable VO to our description. After listening to some samples, we made our selection and commissioned Voquent to record the script.

Excellent project management. The talent selection was spot-on, fully in line with the brief. Some challenges arose when a few selected narrators were irresponsive, but the Voquent team resolved this above expectations and within both budget and time. A direct line between me and the narrator (with support from Voquent's project management) was very useful, as this facilitated a speedy feedback process. The recordings were delivered in a timely manner, surprisingly little adjustments were needed, and those that were, were done quickly and as briefed. The quality of the recordings was very high.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their portfolio of voice talent is impressive, as well as their ability to find the right voices for a project. Besides that: Voquent were very responsive, delivered high quality, and stayed within budget and time frame. Happiness all around.

I was a little disappointed when earlier talent choices appeared irresponsive, but the Voquent team managed to resolve this quickly with a fabulous alternative voice actor.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The range of voiceover artists Voquent has is impressive. We were able to provide our clients with a selection of options, even when meeting specific accent requirements. Crucially, the rates are within range for our budgets and seem to reflect/understand the smaller-audience branded content that we create rather than grouping our content under 'commercial/campaign' as similar voiceover companies have done elsewhere.

We hope to see a continuation of the elements which have made the relationship successful so far - good, efficient communication, a wide range of voice talent, the ability to schedule recordings at short notice, rates that reflect the scope of the project, and of course quality recordings!

We were seeking a voice over artist for a client explainer video we were creating.  The artist needed to have quite particular voice characteristics. I really struggled with other agencies and our project was delayed by weeks as a result.  Everything we requested seemed to be a hassle.

Then I came across Voquent.  Their service from the word go has been excellent!  They were incredibly responsive and professional. The whole process, from understanding our requirements, offering expert advice and options to review, to recording, editing and delivery, couldn't have been more straightforward.

We worked with Voquent on hiring and recording voice talent for short animation projects we are producing. We have done multiple recording sessions with them, recording several different voice talents. All of them have been very professional and easy to work with (both the talent and Voquent staff) The key deliverables were edited recordings from the full sessions with the voice talent.

The overall success of the ongoing animation project we have been producing has a lot to do with great voice talent. That combined with the direction from our film director has proved to be very successful.

I’m a senior project manager for a livestreaming company.

We were in a last-minute situation and had to find somebody.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Voquent has helped us with live human dubbing for a project. We initially sent an email after hours, and they contacted us first thing in the morning in New York time. Afterward, we scheduled a call with them at 8:15 a.m. EST to discuss our needs. We briefly blurted that we needed a quick turnaround for dubbing one of our event live streams.

They’ve dubbed our pre-recorded one-hour-and-17-minute video in Spanish, French, and Brazilian Portuguese.

We’ve dealt with two teammates from Voquent. One is a localization project manager, and the other is an account manager.

We began our engagement in March 2024, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Any numbers on the project are still being worked on. However, Voquent’s team has been very responsive and amenable, working through revisions and getting back to us immediately. They’ve been very professional; they offer the best service they can.

The project is for an end client, and the client has had some feedback and revisions. Overall, Voquent has been great at listening to feedback and accommodating our client’s needs.

How did Voquent perform from a project management standpoint?

The work has been on time and within budget, and their communication has been wonderful. They continuously check back when they get feedback from us. Moreover, they try to rectify and make changes based on feedback.

We initially communicated through a Zoom call; since then, we’ve been in contact via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We reached out to Voquent, and they got back to us as soon as possible. Although we had many time constraints, they immediately jumped on our project. They’ve been working with us promptly, so everything’s been excellent.

They work super efficiently, once they had all the details they needed they started working on delivering the project. They also checked to make sure we were happy with how it was coming along. Super friendly and also efficient via email. We were super happy with whole process and their work.

We didn't officially set measurable outcomes. I asked for an AD script, voice-over recording, and syncing the recording to the video. those were all provided. I ended up re-doing the editing because I didn't realize how the pauses would be handled and to have them re-do it would have added to cost that I couldn't manage.

They handled project management very well. Things were delivered on time. They were responsive to my many questions.

I love the great variety of voice actors that are available through Voquent. The communication with Voquent folks was forthcoming and prompt. They were very helpful to my novice experience with creating an AD version of a video. I learned a lot! The process would have been smoother had I known then what I know now.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Voquent could have done differently?

I'd recommend sharing a sample video of how audio description is handled at different price points. It was explained to me in an email, but a sample video would have been helpful. If they did send that, I missed it.
