We were after a high-quality voiceover artist to read a script that would be used in a communication campaign video launch. We had a tone of voice that we like in this creative reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOxRpGEyn94 It was for a brand campaign launch. 

The video was introducing an idea and delivers a strong call to action. It should be inviting, authentic, and inspiring. But not at all cheesy. The more authentic, the better. The turnaround time was very tight— no longer than 48 hours.

Brilliant project management. Mainly because we were working across three countries—Australia, UK and USA. Exceeded expectations on delivering on time. They worked hard to find a better solution to my brief than I had even suggested.

Voquent is a marvelous resource for voiceover needs. They have a plentiful list of voice actors to choose from with marvelous talent. Their administrative team is excellent and very helpful. I was very very pleased with working with Voquent start to finish, they are an excellent resource for voiceover talent.

The voice actors we choose were excellent. We had the ability to preview their voices through the website itself and then narrow our choice down. Measurable outcomes are the greatness of the finished project. Our Voice actors really really nailed the project. The Voice Actor was wonderful to work with, the scheduling was truly fine and we are very happy, thrilled even with the result.

The project was managed very well. Voquent was receptive 100% to our questions and concerns. I'm a Writer and Development Producer at AON Productions Ltd. We produce films and animations for corporate clients for use in internal and external communications, including marketing, induction films and content for conferences.

We needed several voiceover artists for an animation project we were producing for a client.

I found Voquent online; I was impressed by their range of voiceover artists, the number of 'voicereels' available to listen to, and the professional quality of their website and customer interface.

After taking a brief from the client we produced a script and storyboard and once this was signed off we started our search for appropriate voiceover artists to record the script.

I went through the Voquent website and selected several artists who I thought would be suitable. I then sent short 'audition' scripts to Voquent along with our preferred voiceover artists; Voquent arranged for the artists to record their auditions.

We shared the auditions with our client and between us came up with our preferred artists. We then negotiated a rate with Voquent and hired the artists to record the full version of the script.

We then needed to give the artists further direction to get the result we wanted, and Voquent were able to accommodate this extra request. We delivered the final films within our deadline.

We worked with an account manager at Voquent who replied to our communications quickly and helpfully and understood what we needed at any specific time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our clients were delighted with the final film and the range of voiceover artists we booked through Voquent added to the success of the film. We have been asked to produce a similar film for another part of the client's company.

Communication was done mostly through email; replies were always prompt, courteous and friendly. I felt that Voquent was always looking for ways to help us with our project.

The range of talent was very impressive; I liked the range of voicereels available to listen to; I felt like we could have a friendly but professional discussion about our requirements and how Voquent could meet them.

Voquent had lots of available samples from the speakers, so it was easy to sort of guesstimate which speakers we would want to use for the final product.

We were looking around online for native English speakers, to produce the voiceover for our video. We stumbled upon Voquent, really liked the speakers, the way the website worked, and how easy it was. We reached out, asked for quotes on the speakers we wanted to use, and once the quote was accepted on my end, and paid for, Voquent scheduled a time that was suitable for me and the speakers, and I had the pleasure of directing the speakers until we hit exactly what we were hoping for.

I worked with James and Kate through Voquent. They were super helpful and engaged throughout our recording session. Michael and Jules from Voquent who did all the practical work beforehand, and sent me the finished files afterwards, were also super great and efficient all throughout our communication.

The video is not done as of writing this review, but Voquents part in the video is finished, and we're all - at my office - very happy with the voiceover results.

All communication was done through email, and the recording session was hosted on Zoom. All was easy and straight forward.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I definitely want to commend Voquent for their customer service, I've never felt worried or doubting once throughout their process, even though I've never done VO work this way before.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

All was well on Voquents end. I would've enjoyed if the speakers had a camera on them during our recording session, just to make it more personal. That's the smallest of things, and everything else was perfect.

I’m a creative director at Action Global Communications, a marketing and advertising agency dealing with international clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Voquent?

We required voice-over services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Voquent provides us with voice-over talent for all of our locations. We produce video content in English and translate those videos into seven other languages. Then, Voquent’s talent is in charge of doing the voice-over in those other languages.

Our engagement is very simple. We provide Voquent with a time-stamped script, and they give us back an audio file with what we were asking for. We usually ask them for some voice-over samples to choose the one that suits the tone of voice we want to have.

The videos we produce with Voquent’s voice-over help are mostly for a big pharmaceutical company. These are small, informative videos for a wider audience but mainly targeted to patients on how to improve their well-being.

What is the team composition?

I work mainly with one point of contact from Voquent, but there are other people involved in the project. Altogether, I collaborate with around five people from their team.

How did you come to work with Voquent?

I found them on Google. At the time, I worked with another voice talent agency, but they didn’t have as much talent as Voquent.

Voquent is very efficient, and they do their work very well. They know what they do.

How did Voquent perform from a project management standpoint?

Voquent’s performance is great. They’re very responsive and fast, and they usually deliver the audio files the next day. Additionally, their processes make perfect sense. Their team has helped me navigate through their processes, making it very easy and explaining everything very clearly.

When my main point of contact was about to take her annual paid leave, she immediately provided me with different people I could communicate with during her absence. We communicate via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Voquent’s friendliness and understanding are impressive. They know we deal with a lot of pressure because we’re always in a hurry. Still, they’re very understanding of last-minute requests, and they’re always there to meet our needs.

I'm the film producer of a creative and strategy agency based in London. We primarily work with charities and non-profit organisations to bring creative concepts to life and fruition.

We hired Voquent to provide VO services for an important and well-known climate event in the US. Our client was after a very specific voice-over artist, for which it was a tough task to find on my own. The goal of the project was to spread the event's popularity and importance far and wide across the US and raise awareness of climate change and the action needed.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was recommended Voquent by a colleague producer when I expressed my hopelessness in finding a suitable voice-over artist across 3 different platforms. Per the client's characteristics, the artist had to have a specific accent, tone and approach.

The project was in animation production when I employed Voquent's services for voice-over, I collaborated with their agent to help us find some VO options and upon the client's selection, they arranged the recording with the chosen VO artist.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with the account manager Jules and production coordinator Michael. Upon visiting the website and searching for voice-over talents on my own, I realised it was not an easy task and instead left an enquiry on their website. Just in under an hour I received an email back from Jules and we commenced our communication in search of the ideal VO artist.

That same day I was sent VO artist profiles that fit the characteristics I needed and I was able to send them over to the client. Upon their choice we were approaching the project delivery deadlines quite fast the team at Voquent was incredibly prompt and helpful to organise the recording with the chosen artist within 24 hours (!) to make sure the project gets completed on time. Michael also made sure to communicate the numerous notes I had for the VO artist to ensure the voice-over was made in accordance with the client's notes on tone and delivery. The artist had recorded a few takes for the first round and we were left satisfied and did not need to ask for retakes.

The project is still in production but I can say that the client was left extremely satisfied with the services Voquent provided, and from my side, I'm very grateful and appreciative for the hard work, speed and precision of Jules and Michael's work. Without their input the project would have to have been delayed or used with an unsuitable VO.

The account manager Jules was extremely prompt, friendly and easy to communicate with. I never had to wait over an hour for a response which made me feel very reassured that everything was under control on their end. Additionally she definitely had a special talent in finding an ideal VO artist for the project, the talents she sent over were truly brilliant an on point to the client's criteria. I definitely would not have managed on my own.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Voquent was able to accomodate our budget and timeline needs, and able to find a VO artist very promptly. Their operativeness and friendly approach stood out to me from the get-go and I'm very impressed and happy that we collaborated.

I would say they have done everything perfectly! Their team is great and I will most definitely be reaching out to them again when the next project comes.

We are a restaurant franchiser that brings international restaurant brands into Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am the Group Reservations Manager that operates a centralised call team that answers calls for the restaurants concerned.

Each time we open a new brand, we need to create the voicemail system for the telecoms IVR. We approached Voquent to carry out the recordings for our most recent opening. We require the recordings to be professional and usually in two languages. The restaurants are high end and so quality is of utmost importance.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had been using a local voice recording service but rates charged were uncompetitive. I found Voquent simply by searching online. The rates quoted were much better and the service offered from the start gave a great impression of it being a professional service that also cared about its work.

AOK Kitchen Riyadh is the restaurant. We required a voice message system (VMS) to be recorded in two languages; Arabic and English (British accent) . We initially asked them for a quote before proceeding with purchase..

They offered a good selection of sample recordings in each language thereby giving us a good choice of options Communication was very clear and they always replied within a couple of hours to any questions I had. All communication was by email

I worked with Struan and Alex. They provided excellent communication at all times Any anticipated delays or concerns were relayed in advance so there was never any surprises.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?

We are only launching the recordings into the public forum early next week so we have yet receive any public feedback. However I am delighted with the quality of the recordings and the choice of samples that was offered.Service was consistently polite and efficient.

All correspondence by email due to our operation being in the Middle East. They were always very quick to reply and I never had to chase or remind on anything. They are excellent at explaining everything and instilled confidence in me from the outset that the whole process would be operationally smooth.

We worked with different voice-booking agencies before. The reason why we approached Voquent, was because we needed a reliable partner that can get all the voice actors we need for all our localisations (over 40). And make sure that their project manager can give us a transparent and up-to-date schedule on the orders and deliveries.

The main video was shot and edited in-house. Once approved, we delivered the voice-over documents and video to Voquent. Once the audio was recorded, their PM would fill in the WeTransfer-link in our Google Sheet. The biggest advance of their workflow was that we got back audio that was already very in sync with our video. This saved our editor a lot of time.

After describing the task, the company sent some recommendation for the voice talents. Our client selected the preferred ones, the Voquent quickly fixed the recording sessions. In some cases the client asked for fixes regarding the pronounciation, and it was done also very quickly.

We have worked with two producers and an account manager, we have communicated via e-mail. There communication was very clear, and the response time was also really quick.

Our client liked the animated videos, and the voices really much.
