What challenge were you trying to address with VoiceinWeb Commerce?

Our website was old and not functioning well, so we needed a partner to develop a brand new site.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They created a website design concept and took charge of all the programming, using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Right now, we’re working together to improve the functionality of the site and add new features. For example, they created a page called “where to buy” that allows users to see where to buy our products by putting in their zip code. They also completely redesigned our e-shop and integrated the ability to pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, and PayPal, which we didn’t have before. Users can leave reviews on the shop and even see some 360-degree images.

What is the team composition?

We work with a team of four people, and the project manager is our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with VoiceinWeb Commerce?

My boss found them. He reviewed about six companies but chose VoiceinWeb Commerce because of their price, quality, and communication. They weren’t the cheapest option, but they did high-quality work.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about €16,000 (approximately $18,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We partnered in May 2018, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our project is quite complex and has taken longer than anticipated to complete. When it was first finished, the website was slow, and VoiceinWeb Commerce didn’t offer a solution until after we’d done lots of work. However, they reacted quickly, and we’re happy with the current results. It was a long and stressful journey, though.

How did VoiceinWeb Commerce perform from a project management standpoint?

They have good communication, and the project manager understands our needs. Unfortunately, we have had a few misunderstandings. They could’ve let us know about delays sooner and made sure they were building the product according to our specifications.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re flexible and willing to discuss price and website functionalities. If you have a question about something, they’ll do their research to find the answer.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more attentive and listen better to make sure they understand clients’ needs.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Make sure you provide clear instructions and doublecheck to make sure they know what you want.
