Vodworks worked with our internal development team to create a event venue booking backend from scratch. This includes API endpoints to:

• Query for available event venues.
• Hold and book the event venue in an idempotent way.
• Process credit card charges from the user, as well as handle payouts to the host.
• Setup pubsub infrastructure to send email and push notifications.
• Use Playwright to write automated tests of key user flows.

• The Vodworks team worked with our internal development team very well, and made key contributions to our product.

Since the Vodworks team worked directly with our internal development team, we did the project management. All Vodworks staff were professional, and any issues we had were quickly addressed.

Whenever we needed something more, whether it is extra staff or increased scope, Vodworks is always there to help and has always delivered.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Vodworks could have done differently?

As a lot of their staff is international, some of them may not have the best video conferencing equipment or be proficient enough in English. A bit more training on both would be helpful.

Covid Location Analytics Solution.

The application supports real time analysis of the location of +30m mobile telecom users.

This system allowed the department of disease control to track crowdedness of areas and movement of groups of people.  The tool was used intensively to inform policy and tactically intervene when needed to crub the spread of Covid

All data needed to be processed in near real time (< 1 minute delay) adhering to the highest security and privacy standards.
