 I'm the director of software development for Curavel, a technology platform that streamlines healthcare transportation, enabling care organizations to manage rides more efficiently and improve outcomes by reducing workflow complexity and costs.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Vidico?

 We needed help creating an engaging marketing video to play in our tradeshow booth at a big conference where we would be launching our software.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

 Vidico handled the full production of our marketing videos. In the end, we developed two videos, a hype video and an app video. The team also created three cut-downs of each video. Additionally, Vidico helped create the visual look of our tradeshow booth and provided artwork for a brochure of our software product. The team also provided design assets for our business website and business cards. Moreover, Vidico collaborated with us to provide assets for our business website. The team even created a unique sound for our branded mobile app notification sound. Vidico provided much more than their initial scope. 

What is the team composition?

 We worked with four teammates from Vidico directly, but I'm unsure how large the team was behind them. 

How did you come to work with Vidico?

 I found Vidico by searching in Microsoft Copilot. Before finding them, I was looking for a gig worker to build a marketing video based on a script we had written. When I searched Copilot, I asked it to give me some reputable companies that could create engaging marketing videos. Vidico came up as the number one choice. I interviewed a few different companies, but Vidico stood out as the most engaged and the best value. Additionally, their salesperson had a great personality that made me feel comfortable and truly feel like this would be a partnership.

 We spent a very reasonable amount for what we were provided.

 We worked together from March–September 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

 We're a startup, and Vidico helped us push out a complete and brilliant brand that was all interconnected and professional. I had multiple people come up to me at my tradeshow and ask, "Who did your marketing?" We measured success based on the feedback we received at the conference. Many people who visited us didn't realize we were a startup because our brand and appearance were very mature. In past experience, it would take weeks, if not months or years, to work leads received at the conference. But for Curavel, within one week of the conference, we were already on the phone with a prospective client talking about next steps. Additionally, we saw an increase in traffic to our website and social media accounts during and immediately after our tradeshow. Our sales team mentioned that the new materials gave them a lot more confidence when selling our product at the tradeshow because the brand looked beautiful and the videos were engaging. Everything that branched out from the work we did with Vidico changed the entire sales engagement since people who approached our booth thought we were a mature company and not a startup. 

How did Vidico perform from a project management standpoint?

 Vidico's project management was amazing. The team gave us weekly updates, provided timetables, and stuck to them. Vidico delivered on time every time. We had a very strict timeline when we first signed up with them. We knew we had the conference at the end of September, and several things had to be done to get to the conference. We knew the videos needed to be created first so we could pull assets and design from them to build out our website, booth, and brochure. Vidico fully understood why we needed to meet strict timelines to get everything done before September, and they delivered on time and with amazing quality. We met weekly with our production team and monthly with the leadership. We measured progress based on the timeline, the delivery of the content, and the quality of the content. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

 Vidico's partnership was amazing. Being a startup comes with fighting for people to recognize your vision. Because the vision hasn't become a reality, it can be difficult for people to take you seriously. But from the beginning, Vidico took us seriously and treated us like a big player in the industry. The team shared in the vision and even helped us craft it. Vidico went beyond just providing a service to us; it felt like they genuinely cared for our success. For example, we were on a call with them showing our UI in preparation for the app video they were creating. The producer messaged me privately and said he had some UI experience and offered a few pointers. After reviewing his suggestions, we completely redesigned our UI. It more closely matched the brand and looked fresh, sleek, and clean. UI consulting wasn't in Vidico's scope of work, but they just wanted us to succeed. They cared. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Would’ve loved more GIFs and memes in Slack, but Vidico gave it a solid shot... and that counts for something.

The video is currently being run on YouTube and has not been put up on other platforms so we can't currently measure metrics. It's a great video in terms of quality and story, however. It is one of our best videos yet and we're hoping to see an increase in our link clicks and visits to PosterMyWall to increase the use of our new social media publishing feature.

Everything was smoothly handled. There were weekly calls setup. The feedback and deliverable deadlines were promptly followed. There was also regular communication on slack which helped a lot in keeping everyone in the loop.

I think there ability to manage everything in a timely manner and the communication was very impressive throughout. It was easy for all of us to understand each other better. This has definitely created a long term relationship and we're excited to work on future projects with Vidico!

I think everything was pretty smooth-sailing. Some things such as the costing and the storyboarding scope was confusing at some points so that could've been explained better in the beginning. However, it was overcome and i believe that it won't be an issue moving forward.
